The 3-14 #Pistons will host the 4-13 Los Angeles Lakers Tuesday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills. Detroit will try to break their eight game losing streak against a Lakers team who has yet to beat a team in the Eastern Conference.
The good: Josh Smith dished out a career-high 12 assists vs. Golden State.
The bad:
- Do you realize the only team worse than the Pistons are the openly tanking Philadelphia Sixers?
- The Pistons 49.7 percent shooting within 12 feet of the basket is the worst in the East.
- Detroit’s big three of Monroe, Drummond and Josh Smith went a combined 12 for 38 in the Pistons loss to the Warriors.
The unknown: Will Stan shake things up again to try to put a winning combination on the floor for Detroit?
Injuries
Pistons:: Jodie Meeks is OUT.
Lakers: Xavier Henry and Ryan Kelly are OUT. Julius Randle and Steve Nash are Out for season.
Fact: Pistons guard Jodie Meeks played for the Lakers from 2012-14, averaging 11.8 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 27.2 minutes, but has yet to play a minute with his new team because of injury.
Fact: Detroit has lost four consecutive games to the Lakers and four of the last five at home.
