The 1-3 #Pistons will host the 2-3 Milwaukee Bucks at the Palace of Auburn Hills Friday night. Detroit will go for their second win of the season against their former teammate Brandon Knight, who averaged 15.2 ppg against them last season.
The good: Greg Monroe and his 23 points and 18 boards he put up against the Knicks Wednesday night.
The bad:
- The Pistons abysmal fourth quarter giveaway against the Knicks. They may have squeaked by with a win, but it was awful to watch.
- Josh Smith and his 2-of-17 shooting.
The unknown: Will Van Gundy go with the lineup of Drummond, Monroe, Smith, Pope and Jennings to start the game again? Will DJ Augustin keep being Van Gundy’s guy late in games? Will the Palace crowd keep booing Smith or will he shut them up?
Injuries
Pistons:: Gigi Datome and Cartier Martin are doubtful (or more like doubtful they’ll get any playing time). Jodie Meeks is out.
Bucks:Damien Inglis and Johnny O’Bryant are out.
Fact:Detroit went 3-1 against the Milwaukee Bucks last season.
Fact:Brandon Jennings averaged 20.5 points and Greg Monroe averaged 20.0 points last season against Milwaukee.
