The 0-1 #Pistons will close out their two game road trip in Minnesota to take on the 0-1 Timberwolves Thursday night. The Timberwolves battled, but lost to the Grizzlies on Wednesday night 105-101.
The good: Andre Drummond looks better than ever despite fouling out on Wednesday night against the Nuggets.
The bad: Josh Smith still up to his old tricks. Looks like his shot selection isn’t getting better anytime soon. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope has got to shoot better than 3-for-19 if the Pistons are going to have a chance.
The unknown: Can Brandon Jennings bounce back from a sub-par game that caused Stan Van Gundy to give his minutes to DJ Augustin?
“I thought he was playing better than Brandon, I guess. The answer is you’re going with the guys who give you the best chance to win.
I just thought we were getting a little bit more out of D.J.’s pick-and-rolls for a big part of the game.”
Brandon Jennings on the limited minutes: “A little surprised, it never happened before in my career. But hey, it is what it is. We’ve just got to keep pushing through it. Via The Detroit Free Press
