The 24-37 #Pistons are in Minnesota to take on the 30-30 Timberwolves Friday night. The Timberwolves are still trying to make a playoff push winning six of their last eight games, while Detroit is doing the same in the lowly Eastern Conference.
The Pistons have lost in their last three visits to Minneapolis.
The good: Greg Monroe’s 27 points in the Pistons loss to the Bulls.
The bad: The Fact Detroit has lost eight of 10 overall and 11 of 13 on the road, including seven in a row while allowing an average of 112.6 points.
The unknown: This season in almost at the finish line, will the Pistons squeek into the playoffs, lose their draft pick, or both?
Pistons: Chauncey Billups (left knee surgery) is out. Peyton Siva is day-to-day.
Timberwolves: Ronny Turiaf is out.
Fact: Detroit has lost seven consecutive games to the Timberwolves.
Fact: Kevin Love is awesome, and he like Taco Bell so watch out.
Tip off is at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Detroit . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 The Ticket.
wonderful post, very informative. I wonder why the other specialists of this sector do not
realize this. You should proceed your writing. I’m
sure, you’ve a huge readers’ base already!
this team is unwatchable. Sure there may have been worse teams. Sure we had a player’s mutiny (seriously a mutiny!) Sure we have had bad coaches.
But the players on this team are too stupid to play basketball. What a roster. Blocks dunks fast break points we have them but, things u learn in high school like shot selection, how to guard a pick and roll, box out, not pick up a tick tack foul or shoot a jump shot, nope it’s like chinese algebra to this team they don’t have any fundamentals.
It’s unbearable to see the horrible things these players do.
I stopped watching a month ago, just checking box scores and avoiding the highlights at the end of the day. Guarranteed less frustrations and wasted time.
