The 23-33 #Pistons will host the 34-22 Golden State Warriors at the Palace of Auburn Hills Monday night. Golden State would like to make it four straight to start off their six game road trip the right way while Detroit will take any victory they can, especially on their home court.
The good: Josh Smith had his best game as a Piston with a season-high 32 points on 14-of-20 shooting in the loss against the Mavs Saturday.
The bad: The Pistons have lost five straight against the Warriors.
Andre Drummond was off his game against and it won’t be easy for him and Monroe against Lee and Bogut (if he plays).
The unknown: The Warriors are looking for their second consecutive season sweep of Detroit. Can Detroit finally take one from Golden State?
Injuries: Pistons: Chauncey Billups (left knee surgery) is out.
Warriors: Andrew Bogut is questionable.
Festus Ezeli and Nemanja Nedovic are out.
Stat: Stephen Curry led the Warriors with 25 points against the Pistons on 11/12.
Fact: The Warriors have held the Pistons to fewer than 100 points in each of their last five meetings, the most consecutive games they’ve held the Pistons to fewer than 100 points since a 12-game stretch from 1955-56, when the teams were in Philadelphia and Fort Wayne, respectively.
Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Detroit . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 The Ticket.
Lee isn’t playing
