The 29-52 #Pistons play their last game of the season Wednesday night in Brooklyn when they take on the 48-33 Nets.
- The good:The Pistons can close off the season with a five game win streak and 30 wins if they can beat the Nets.
- The bad: With a win the Nets can sweep Detroit for the first time in their 36-year history.
- The unknown: Though it’s the last game of the season, there is likely to be plenty of news out of the Pistons organization this offseason. What that news is, we’re not quite sure yet.
Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.
I think the good should be the bad and vice versa. The Good: The nets beat us tonight (we improve our lottery position) The Bad: We win a meaningless game and fall back to 8th spot.
rooting for lottery balls this time
This should mean substantial time with Charlie V playing matador D and jacking it up big time, Kim English at the 2 and Slava over Drummond most of the game
Not gonna happen. Frank has his job on the line just like Joe D so he will play the starters in a desperate attempt to save his job.
Larry Frank, can’t figure out how to win with Drummond when we were in a position to make a playoff run but figures it out just in time to spoil our lottery chances.
I used to like Frank.
Detroit`s current win streak happens to coincide with Drummond coming back from injury and Calderone not playing due to injury.
Interesting.
Who will be back? Calderone, Coach Frank, Bynum. or Maxiell.
I think none of the above except maybe Will Bynum.
Does Calderone something to do with Toblerone?
pretty worried we would win this, bynum was spectacular moose was moosey jerebko got minutes over charlie v, but thank goodness Brandon Knight played like absolute garbage, made awful decisions threw away the ball and couldn’t shoot, ensuring a better lottery pick this year.
if I had to summarize this season I would just make a video of brandon knight, getting his ankles broke by kyrie irving, decapitated by deangre jordan and then air balling an uncontested layup, the end pistons 2012-2013
Doug Collins resigned as sixers coach . Reports say he didn’t wanted to be part of a long rebuilding process.
Could that mean, he is on Pistons radar to replace Frank, I would liek to think we are ahead of sixers on the rebuilding thing and could use Collins.
