The Pistons vs. The Celtics

The 25-50 #Pistons are in Boston to take on the 38-36 Celtics Wednesday night.

  • The good:Detroit has won the last four against the Celtics.
  • The bad: The Celtics are clinging to a 1 1/2 game lead over the Bucks for the last playoff spot. With a win over Detroit and a Philadelphia loss the Celtics can clinch a spot, so you can bet there going to give it all they have against Detroit
  • The unknown: Will Greg Monroe have just as much success as he has in the past against Boston? Monroe put up 35 points and 24 boards in the last two combined against the Celtics.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to one of the few remaining games at The Palace, you can get tickets directly from the Pistons with NO FEES.

HOME STRETCH only 7 games left thank goodness.

We should win this, everyone in the celtics is injured everyone in detroit is healthy, stuck is playing good for the first time of the year.

On the other hand, Detroit Pistons have a habit of not playing very hard. Except for Jerebko. He always plays hard.

Figures Knight would miss an open layup. Monroe and Jonas playing their hearts out.

Just got home from the ngame. charlie v is a fucking embarassment to the fucking game of basketball.. it took all i had not to wait at the player entrance and gilooly his stupid fuckign ass.

    no cv3…pistons win

also: “villenueva” is spanish for “brick”

honestly, i dont know if i have ever been this pissed off at a pistons player (and im old)

oh, special shoutout to knight bricking that layup. awesome job, asshat. also: great hustle by the rest of the team to be there for a potential putback. because at this, nothing is guaranteed.

i love the pistons. but tonight, after another brick from charlie, i screamed “YOURE EMBARRASING ME”. the celtics fans around me were all rooting for charlie to get the ball. pistons havent lost at the garden in a while…shouldnt have happened tonight

sorry for all the typos. still might be slightly smooooth, still very much enraged

a team winning 33% of its games shouldnt piss me off that much. i know rationally that i sholdnt be getting this upset.

    cant help it

aha brick! thats great. We are just useless without an intelligent pg, our turnovers were incredible, and I am terrified of knight turning into stuckey- A combo guard that is streaky with not much upside.
If only this year was a better draft class…
