The Pistons vs. The Hornets

The 20-32 Detroit #Pistons are back home to host the 17-34 New Orleans Hornets Monday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.

  • The good: The Pistons have been playing lights out that last two game with new PF Jose Calderon and surprising production from Charlie Villanueva, Detroit should be able to take care of the Hornets.
  • The bad: I was personally hoping to head to the Palace and see a Anthony vs. Andre match-up to see just how the number one pick and the number nine stacked up against each other. I have a feeling Dre would have shown he shouldn’t have dropped to the nine spot, especially since Davis has hit somewhat of a wall. We’ll just have to wait for Andre to return from injury, but in Detroit we already know he was the steal of the draft.
  • The unknown: Can Detroit make it three in a row? Will Calderon keep getting better and better each game as he learns more about his teammates and L Frank’s system? Can Charlie V keep this going? He’s not only knocking down big shots, but he’s playing more defense in the last few game than he has combined since he got to Detroit.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to the game on Monday night, you can get tickets directly from the Pistons with NO FEES. This one should be fun!
