The Pistons vs The Wizards

The 7-21 #Pistons are hosting the 3-20 Washington Wizards Friday night at the Palace of Auburn Hills.

  • The good: The Wizards are more miserable on the road (1-11) than the Pistons. John Wall is still out with an knee injury.
  • The bad: Detroit doesn’t have to much to brag about being losers of six straight.
  • The unknown: Home and home against the Wizards should be a gift to the Pistons right now.  Will they capitalize on it?

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to the Game Friday night at the Palace you can get in the door for as little as $3

halftime- Drummond “only” 4 blocks? I counted 6. Anyways Vesely will probably put a pic of Drummond on his dartboard after getting swatted all those times

pistons won this game by the 1st quarter, the rest was mostly garbage time, a bit boring but really nice to see Jerebko out on the court what hustle, we missed you JJ, Kim English had time to throw up a brick, Austin Daye had extended minutes, all in all a nice little romp, and we finally got to see Slava is he raw or what.

I expect we’ll have plenty of time to see more Jerebko next game with the Wiz, can’t wait.

I laughed out loud when Kravtsov connected on the third try at the dunk. He wanted it so bad and so did the team. You never forget your first

CV’s defense seems to keep picking up, he took a nice charge there. I too hope JJ plays more tomorrow. Bynum auditioning in garbage time for Stuckey’s spot

bynum had an awful game, taking every shot instead of feeding it inside, that is not a good recipe to get the job of first point guard off the bench

Jonas has been riding the bench for the past 10 or so games. Nobody knows why, he’s a pretty good basketball player.

JJ was a starter as a rookie but then got hurt. Last year he came off the bench after losing his starting job to Jason. Now he is in the dog house and just watching most games. Hopefully he get a chance to redeem himself since CV31 is just not that good, especially defensively.
With Stuckey and Maggette hurt, we get to see what Bynum, Daye and English can do.
Good to see Slava K get to play and score his first points. If he shows some progress then Drummond can start with Moose and Slava can become the backup C. If he does not progress he should go down to the D league and get playing time there while Andre backs up MOOSE at center for the rest of the year.

Stuckey with yet again more assists off the bench than Knight. Should we be starting Stuckey at PG and Knight at the 2? Knight’s never met a shot he didn’t like.
