The Pistons vs. The Nets

The Pistons vs. The Brooklyn Nets

The 7-17 #Pistons are in Brooklyn to take on the 12-9 Nets Friday night.

  • The good: The Nets have dropped four of five against the Pistons and are struggling. The Nets were on a five game skid before beating Toronto Wednesday night.
  • The bad: This is a road game, and we all know how the Pistons play away from home. It’s also the first time the Pistons will be visiting the Nets in their new home The Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
  • The unknown: Can Brook Lopez return to form and give his team a boost after recovering from a sprained foot? Can Brandon Knight hold his own against Deron Williams?

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

If you’re thinking of going to the Pistons vs. Pacers Saturday night at the Palace you can get in the door for as little as $7!

Been following the site for years but never actually commented…Thought id finally add my 2 cents…Is it just me or does the whole team seem like a completely different one when Monroe and Drummond are playing together. There just seems to be so much more energy and hustle, and even some nice unselfish team basketball going on…And you can tell that Moose really wants to play with Drummond – he looks like a different player with Drummond out there (he just looks so much more positive/confident/relaxed). I dunno, just my obvservations

      Chris,
First off thanks for handing around the site for so long and sticking with the Pistons while they are in “transition” mode.
I totally agree with your two cents, Monroe looks much better when Andre is on the court, it’s almost like he’s relieved he’s got another big guy to help. Bless Jason Maxiell, but it’s much more intimidating for the opposition to see two almost 7 footers out there than a 6 foot 4 Jason Maxiell.

triple over time and the refs screwed us, give a free over and back turnover to the Nets, give up a “not a shot clock violation” we won this game at least twice and it’s just not fair that the Nets get the calls because why?

    Garbage.

also on the over and back violation the nets walked

      garbage game.

Nets are real happy to win tho. This pistons team is not a joke.
