The Pistons vs. The Cavaliers

The 6-15 #Pistons are in Cleveland for the second game of a back-to-back against the 4-16 Cavaliers Saturday night.

  • The good: Looks like both Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters, Cleveland’s two top scorers, won’t be playing for the Cavaliers.
  • The bad: Both the Cavs and the Pistons are hoping to break out of their losing streaks. Cleveland has lost four in a row and the Pistons two.
  • The very bad: Detroit is 1-10 on the road.
  • The unknown: Will Greg Monroe put up a double-double and break out of his mini slump while trying to stop Anderson Varejao?

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

darn you stuck. just when i give up completely on you for the year you put together a string of strong performances. stuck youre playing good, stay healthy man.

    • Drew

He didn’t have that great of a game. Made the clincher, though.

      • edt

        i missed the 2nd quarter

  2. edt

brandon knight is playing really well, isn’t turning over the ball and automatic from 3

  3. greg

30 for Knight! he and Stuck both played well. Drummond still holding his own too, but where has Monroe gone? Also loving the hustle from CV

  4. Drew

At least we’re doing a good job of dispatching the other bottom feeders, other than Orlando. So look forward to the three game stretch against Toronto and Washington x 2.

  5. Markov7

am i too much of an optymist by thinking we can win denver and indiana at home??

    • Drew

I’d be pizzed if we didn’t win at least one.

  6. edt

we look like a 50% team rite now.

if we win half the rest of our games we go 37/45

If I’m not wrong this means we are going to be in the playoff hunt for the last 2 or 3 games of this season.

    • Markov7

looks like it but then “the other me” wakes up and says to me “hey markov remember, cavs didnt play with kyrie and dion guy (whatever his last name is)”

      • Drew

Yeah, and we still beat them fairly comfortably and on the road and in the second game of a B2B.

        • Markov7

agreed but i just hope i m not converting into a donkey thats gettin used on beatin thinkin that we could have easily lost those 2 games if kyrie and dion on cavs team played those 2 games

          • edt

            nothing to do with cavs

take our 0-8 start throw it away

            we are a .500 team
