As maligned as Rodney Stuckey has become with Pistons fans ( I actually read were someone now considers him the Ryan Raburn of Detroit, ouch) I thing it’s admirable that he would suggest this.

Personally, I think that Stuckey may be better served as a reserve. Singler is a solid player, however, him at the shooting guard position isn’t the answer long-term.

I think he should start… In Tayshaun spot! Trade him for a solid 2 guard and start Stuckey back at the point, new guy at 2, Singlar at the 3, Monroe at the 4 and Frummond at the 5. I like Knight but he just shoots way to much for me, and I don’t see that changing. So let him be a scorer off the bench…

Maybe Stuckey likes the idea of being the main option off the bench.

I think Rodney would be better off the bench. I think he likes it better that way anyways. Singlet is definitely the better pick up we got this year.

I’m hoping Drummond can step up to the plate and get to work. He has a lot of potential because he’s so damn athletic but whenever I see him in games where it matters he looks lost and he never boxes out his man on rebounds.

He has a lot of potential though

I’m not sure what to make of this. Maybe Rodney needs more touches and Brandon is playing on the ball too much now, or maybe he just wants to take some of the pressure off. Ever since Stuckey got here, he’s been that guy for better or worse.

Or maybe this is a coded hint to Frank that he needs to shake things up, move Prince to reserve, look, if Rodney can do it, Prince can move to the bench too.

Or maybe Rodney is just being superstitious, we just got a great win, let’s do it again.
