The Pistons vs. The Lakers

The 0-2 #Pistons are in Los Angeles to take on the 0-3 Lakers Sunday night. The Lakers have not started 0-3 at home since 1959.  Despite the trade for Dwight Howard and the offseason acquisition of Steve Nash, Kobe Bryant and his Lakers are off to their worst start in 34 years. The Lakers have not lost its first four games since opening with seven straight defeats in 1957 when located in Minneapolis.

  • The good: The Lakers will be without Steve Nash, who’s suffering from a bruised leg.
  • The bad: Rodney Stuckey must step up after two less than stellar games to give the Pistons a chance to take down the Lakers at home.
  • The unknown: Can the Pistons take advantage of the Lakers and squeeze out their first win of the season?

Just Because

Tip off is at 9:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports . If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

My god, they’re doing this with Tom Gores beside them. Stuckey, I can heal my migraine in two hours, what kind of migraine is that?

Eff this, man. If Stuckey’s having migraines, he needs to sit his ass out.

Why is Frank still playing him? Use Singler the rest of the way.

I don’t know who’s more stupid: Stuckey, or Frank for playing him…at all.

    Here is the problem.
    1. Sit Stuck until he is healthy
    2. Sit Tay he is well past his prime
    3. Sit Maxiell since he is too short to start at PF

I would start Maggette once his calf is healed. Play JJ since he is the only player that hustled against the Lakers. Start Drummond with Moose. Have Slava come off the bench for Drummond.
