The Pistons vs. The Magic

The 19-32 #Pistons hot the 32-21 Orlando #Magic at the Palace of Auburn Hills Tuesday night. The Magic could be without both Dwight Howard and Ryan Anderson due to injuries, and the Pistons could be short both Rodney Stuckey and Ben Gordon again.

Orlando will try to avoid a season high-tying fourth consecutive loss Tuesday night, while Detroit has won three of their last four games and hope to make it five.

  • The good: Detroit is 7-2 in its last nine at home, while Orlando has dropped four of six on the road.
  • The bad: Gordon returned to practice Monday and is expected to play Tuesday, but Stuckey will likely sit again
  • Who to watch: Brandon Knight, who should be able to take advantage of his match up with Jameer Nelson.
  • The unknown: Can Moose start picking up his offensive production?

btw if the magic asked to trade howard for moose, I would respectfully decline. Howard is everything that is flash and athletic, moose is everything that is smart and underrated. Greg Monroe at this stage is in career statistically better than Dwight Howard was after he had been in the NBA for an additional year and has a higher ceiling.

Agree. Its good to know that we have a team (with a winning record) that we can dominate.

No Stuckey again. But, for some reason, I have a feeling that others will pick up some of that slack tonight.

Great W for the Pistons! All 5 starters and JJ in double figures.
Big Ben with 6 rebounds. NO STUCK for us and NO Howard for them.
We outrebounded and out scored them in the paint big time with no Superman in the middle.
