The Pistons vs. The Raptors

The 14-26 #Pistons are hosting the 13-26 Raptors Saturday night at The Palace of Auburn Hills.  The last time these two teams met Detroit got schooled by Toronto.

  • The good: The Pistons are winners of 8 of their last 11 at home.
  • The bad: The Pistons haven’t won four straight at home since a five-game run from Nov. 29-Dec. 12, 2009.  Brandon Knight still hasn’t gotten back in the swing of things since the All Star break.  Let’s hope he can break out against the Raptors.
  • Who to watch: DeMar DeRozan, who can hurt you on any given night, and our old friend Amir Johnson.
  • The unknown: Can the Pistons keep rolling at The Palace?

Great group rates on Pistons Tickets directly from the Pistons with no Ticket fees!.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Plus. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 The Ticket.

Another W for the Pistons. Believe it or not we are less than 4 games out of a playoff spot.
I got to admit that Frank has made some good decisions with the roster given to him by Dumars. Starting Knight with Stuck and having BG come off the bench was brilliant.
Starting Maxiell with JJ off the bench has worked pretty well also.
But we still need improvement at the PF position.
Let face it CV31 and Daye are not going to fit into our future plans as long as Frank is the coach. They are both gone like the wind next year.
With Big Ben retiring and Maxiell a FA at the end of this season, looks like they will need a legitimate starting PF, a decent backup SF and a decent backup C in order to make the playoffs next year. The backups we can get in the draft but the PF starter will have to come via free agency.

nice win, we’re seeing more progress now. if you think we’re better than the bucks, we should be flirting for the 8th spot.
