The 4-19 Pistons are in New Jersey to play their last game of their back to back to back against the 7-15 Nets. The Nets, who have lost two in a row, are excited to see Detroit as they try for a fourth straight home win over the Pistons. Detroit needs to avoid a loss to save face and to avoid a season-high seventh loss in a row.
- The good: The Nets are without MarShon Brooks (toe), Mehmet Okur (back) and DeShawn Stevenson (knee).
- The bad: Letting the Knicks shoot a higher percentage rate than most of our IQ’s. Detroit is allowing 103.0 points per contest while opponents have shot 52.2 percent overall and 50 of 97 (51.5 percent) from beyond the arc.
- Who to watch: Deron Williams, Anthony Morrow and Mr. Kardashian for fun.
- The unknown: They have to show up sooner or later don’t they?
Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports. If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.
I bet that felt really good for someone.
What did Vince Lombardi say?
“Winning is not a sometime thing; it’s an all time thing. You don’t win once in a while, you don’t do things right once in a while, you do them right all the time. Winning is habit. Unfortunately, so is losing.”
I really can’t take much more of this. We paid $30 million dollars for Prince, a guy that can only go left.
And in the next to last play of this game . . . the nets made him go right.
Could have used Ben Gordon tonight. The nets have absolutely zero defense, if you could hit a bucket it was gonna go in.
