The Palace to replace 80 Skyboxes

“Auburn Hills-based Palace Sports and Entertainment LCC may slash the number of suites of The Palace of Auburn Hills to 80 skyboxes from the current 178, according to a new report.

The plan would be to convert suite space on the penthouse level of the Detroit Pistons’ home into a restaurant, social media gathering sites and a sports hall of fame, the Sports Business Journal reported. Read More

If you’re like me and you have watched a game in one of those suites in the rafters, you know if can be rough. You couldn’t even see Sheed’s bald spot from up there. I’m all for it, but the only thing that concerns me is the wait at the elevators getting up there.
