The Pistons vs The Bucks

The 2-8 Pistons are in Milwaukee to take on the 3-6 Bucks.  Milwaukee posted its highest scoring game of the season in improving to 3-0 at home, where it’s averaging 102.0 points on 48.8 percent shooting.

  • The good: This may sound like a broken record because we don’t have many things happening in the good department so…Greg Monroe.  The Bucks
  • The bad: The Pistons have been outscored by an average of 20.0 points during a five-game losing streak.  Watch out for the Bucks Brandon Jennings.
  • The unknown: The possible return of Rodney Stuckey and Charlie Villanueva.  Both are listed as day to day.

The Pistons will be back home at the Palace on Sunday, get in the door for as little as $5.

Tip off is at 8:00 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Plus If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at 97.1 the Ticket.

Call me a traitor, but give me an away game over a home game any day.

Nothing is more depressing than the hollow empty shell of the palace, where the basketball slapping the floor echoes forever.

Rather be at a stadium that is full even if they are the enemy.

I so agree. They need to make the tickets cheaper. That is the only way that fans will probably decide to go to the palace. If they were cheaper, there will be more attendance and maybe it will give us confidence to play better. If we were doing really good the tickets would be in high demand, since the demand is low, the price should be as well.

The would have to start paying people to go there. How much are tickets now, 2 for $10?

Yeah it’s bad looking at all those empty seats they should just insert a fake crowd like they do in video games ….side note… We couldn’t beat the bucks. We’re on a roll (losing) what’s the record for games lost in a row? looking at the schedule I really don’t see us winning again until we play the bucks again. As piston fans we can only prepare for the worse and hope for the best.

hey what you talking about, the bobcats are worse than the bucks and the golden state warriors are worse still.

We should be able to get at least 1 win out of the next two games playing against 2 of the worst 5 teams in the nba.

yeah your right but if history repeats itself we won’t win neither but we’ll at least be in the game threatening to win … I mean we tend to make the old and no name players look like all-stars.. But I’ll be watching with a remote in one hand drink in the other.

We will definitely win one of them. Just think about this. We are playing against two of the worst 5 teams in the entire NBA. And they are NOT gonna bring their A game, why? Because beating the pistons gains you no respect, and losing to them means nothing either. These bottom 5 teams get up against the heat and the mavs, they see pistons on their schedule and phone it in.

We get one of these games, because the pistons will bring their most potent weapon:

            The other team’s complacency.

Even when we win we lose. Whenever we win it looks like just a fluke because we always take 5steps back the next game. I mean how can we still be this bad this long.. Really… How?? Sad times when we have to count on the bottom feeders to phone it in to get a win….but you’re so right. Ööooo how I miss the days when we were the shark now we’re shark bait and fish food…

I would be saying that we should fire Joe D, but since his hands were tied last couple seasons and it is not like I know of anyone better for the job, I cant say we get rid of the dude. I totally respect Joe Dumars for all that he has done, but maybe he is part of the problem now… He has made some mistakes but GMs are not like coaches who can run on a record of wins and losses. It has to be someone who knows “Detroit Basketball”

Hopefully the ticket doesn’t screw me again and it will actually PLAY the damn game.

Milwaukee is a team I think we can beat. Hopefully we can turn this slump around

Not a bad game though, even though we got the lost. 32 points from Monroe? That’s AWESOME! We need to keep this kid around.

Also, to all the Knight haters….20 points for knight and only 11 for stuckey. Knight got 15 more minutes than Stuckey who still got 20. Knight was 7-9 and 2-2 from three. Stuckey was 2-7. Yeah, the 5 turnovers sucked, but still. Knight is a good player, and Stuckey is (outside of just this game) a huge letdown in Detroit over the course of his career.

We need to start finishing these teams. I can’t wait to see us win again.

Also, can someone get Ben Gordon’s head out of the sand? He’s a god damn, high-paid professional in these league that is playing like a little boy.

Also, I’m still enjoying seeing Daye warm the bench.

And looking more at Monroe…16 rebounds, 32 points, 12-16 shooting. What a great game for him

That’s your sample size? Knight had a pretty good night I’ll give you that…shooting the ball. Do us a favor and look at Knight’s and Stuckey’s +/- numbers for the night, and also how many free throws both attempted.

Woah woah woak take it easy.

You know I love this site, but god damn I’m hating all of the bickering everyone does. It’s all opinions. Detroit needs to calm down and attempt to love the team together, not hate each other for it.

brandon knight is the most turnover prone point guard in the NBA. This game he had a bit less than an assist to turnover ratio of 1 to 2. A more typical ratio is 1 to 2 which is stuckey’s stat for tonight.

Brandon Knight . . . he’s like a little Ben Gordon, every time he gets near the ball it squirms away from him like a greased pig. Knight can shoot the ball I’ll give him that.

good grief the bucks are awful. But the pistons are beyond awful.

Is it to early to start looking at the 2012 draft? I assume since our coach is decent we are going to have a better record than the current 2nd or 3rd to the bottom we are right now. The wizards, the nets, golden state, new orleans, houston, bocats are all worse, but the bucks seems slightly better than us.

So 7th pick. Michael Kidd-Gilchrist from UK. A not nba ready small forward. Maybe if the ball bounces the right way we get a top 3 pick, if we get Andre Drummond Moose would have a friend. Anthony Davis would be solid too. #3 pick would be another shooting guard to add to our roster, Jeremy Lamb, so we might pass on him if we get pick #3 and go right for Jared Sullinger, skilled PF from Ohio State.

My only question is, am I going to torture myself and watch any more pistons games.

dont panic its still very early and teams are working out the funk. we are just at rock bottom and need to give our team inspiration to press forward. Knight played well and moose played great. now if we can get them to play great together its gonna be a turning point in the franchise. be patience
