The Pistons vs. The Knicks

The 2-5 Pistons back home to take on the on 3-4 New York Knicks.  Combined with the Pistons play of late and the fact that The Detroit Lions will be playing their first Playoff game since …well forever,  I’m guessing the crowd at the Palace will be sparse at best.

  • The good: Carmelo Anthony isn’t have the best start to a season and will be dealing with a sore hip, but he did put the Knight over the top Friday night.
  • The bad: Amar’e Stoudemire has averaged 30.0 points and 11.0 rebounds in three games against Detroit since joining the Knicks.
  • The unknown: It’s unclear if Detroit will have guards Ben Gordon and Rodney Stuckey back or how much time Brandon Knight can play on his ankle.

If you’re looking for a great deal on Pistons Tickets look no further. Get tickets for as low as $5 dollars to get in the door tonight.

Tip off is at 7:30 pm and will be broadcast on Fox Sports Plus If you can’t catch the game on TV, catch it on the radio over at WWJ 950 AM.

GO LIONS!

Totally agree with you! I don’t understand why Ben Wallace is getting these garbage minutes. He should’ve been in the game in the 2Q when it all went down.

I don’t remember the last time a player jacked up 12 3-pointers alone and the game isn’t even over yet. Knicks aren’t even guarding him!

yeah but he made 5 of them, seems average to me. If he had made 7 of them we would have been prouder.

Could we really do any worse if we gave Stuck and CV some playing time?

Nicks are a bad team. Pistons are a terrible team. You know your team is terrible when the other team starts feeling sorry for you.

Games like this, you don’t have to wonder why the stadium is empty.

There is no bright spot for the pistons. No excuses.

If you went to this game and didn’t leave in the middle of the 4th quarter you have a real strong stomach.

The Detroit Lions look hungry they might do something tonight.

Oh and i said it before but . . .

Joe D is really getting fired for real. He’s done. This ain’t the coaches fault.

I can imagine Larry Frank quoting Danny Glover, “There’s a thing called talent. These guys don’t have it.”

Sry he’s going to have another year at least to try and clean up this roster and I have a feeling it doesn’t start until we see hat we get in the draft.

Joe is done. He gets to finish out his term, lame duck style.

I feel embarrassed. I hope the players feel the same way.

Another loss to a average team and at home no less.
    Out rebounded again.
Good game for Knight and Monroe.
Bad game for Prince, Bynum and even Jonas.
Maxiell and Wilkins had decent minutes off the bench.
CV a scratch again. Why is he still on the team? Must be the highest paid cheerleader in the league. Last year with the pistons for sure.
Stuck and Daye DNP because of injury. Austin will be gone too next year.
Joe blew it when he drafted him.
Big Ben will retire next year.
Lot of needs to fill at almost every position.
