The Pistons vs. The Celtics

The Pistons vs. The Celtics

The 15-26 Pistons are in Boston to take on the 31-9 Celtics.  Both teams will be going for their 4th straight win Wednesday night.  Though that’s not a big deal to the Celtics, the Pistons are looking for their first four-game winning streak since a five-game run Dec. 4-12, 2009.

Besides the Rip ‘DNP” drama that the Pistons can’t seem to get away from there is one question that still needs answering. Will the Kevin Garnett vs. Charlie Villanueva drama unfold or will it turn out to be a lot of nothing. My money is on at least something happening, since Charlie got away with an uncontested shove when he walked off the court in their last meeting. Garnett didn’t get to retaliate because he left with an injury and never returned. I wonder if Sports Betting sites are taking odds? If they have a bet on backpedaling or cheap shots put your money on KG.

Make us proud Charlie V.

If you’re unaware of KG’s antics please take a look at this YouTube video appropriately titled Kevin Garnett the Vanilla Ice of Big Men.

Looks like the Pistons again won’t have Ben Wallace, who’s still nurturing his ankle.

haha as soon as i saw the link i knew exactly what video it was, i went straight to the antonio mcdyess kg thing.

obviously pistons have played poorly because we had 1 too many 20 pt scorers on the rotation. Past couple seasons we played the best when 1 of those scorers were out. We seem to be putting our best all around players in the right spots and its paying off for kuester

KG won’t do anything because KG is all mouth, no fight.

KG was a headcase this game. Couldn’t make most of his shots

In other news, the Nets are no longer pursuing Carmelo Anthony. Now the question is, will Kuester play Rip tonight now that the trade talks are off?

melo deal is dead guys nets owner called it off. (or did he?) so much for the rip deal. now hes gonna have to sit the bench the rest of the year.

unless, of course, the Pistons buy out his contract or find another trading partner before mid-Febuary. but I doubt that either of this would happen. But who knows?

pistons live says ” rip is the third best SG on the team” and prolly wont play

    • junior

third best huh? well thats not good seeing as we only have four or is it three? BG, RIP, stuckey? maybe a sg, maybe a pg. mcgrady? same as stuckey. definetly not will, maybe terrico (but he hurt) austin? could play there. so we have 2 definite sg and another 4 more maybes. if rips third best and three of the four maybes all play a different spot also. . . . . i guess what pistons live was saying is rip is the worst sg we have. right?

personally i dont want to see rip. im grateful for all the great things hes done for us and the orginaztion. but we need to play who weve been playing that rotation has some chemistry together why break it up? becuase rip used to be our best player? no. hes not now or he would be in there. im gonna even go as far as to say that we should kkep wallace out. well at least out of the starting line up give him like 10 min or so just enough to give monroe a little less min or he will be hitting the rookie wall to. like austin did last year.keep the rotation keep the winning? thats what im going with right now. and until i see a drastic dropoff in the hustle, points, defense or the complete lack of trying. lets get a win again tnight and hope garnett gets hurt again. i hate that bastard.

big ben needs to let monroe, wilcox and cv31 play as many minutes as they can fouls and fatigue factored in.

Why didn’t someone shoot a 3ball on the last possession?

Anyway, I had the game on mute b/c those announcers were quite unprofessional with their game calling. They sounded like the chumps from Cheers rooting for the C’s. I hope Blaha and Special K are announcing on NBA League Pass next game.

Monroe played good against some experienced fools. Not bad for a rook.
I thought CV31 was dialed in as well. The celtic bigs were each held to under 15.

Trust me, they could never be worse than the Chicago Bulls’ announcers. Those guys were immature, sounding like 12-year-olds. It was annoying that last time we played Chicago.
