The Pistons vs. The Magic

Again..

The 6-13 Pistons are back home to hot the 14-4 Magic tonight at the Palace. Though the Pistons looked good for most of their Tuesday night contest in Orlando, they once again fell flat late in the game.

The best thing to come out of Detroit in the last past week, was the fact the Ben Wallace grabbed his 10,000th rebound at Orlando (11/30) becoming the third active player in the NBA to record 10,000-plus rebounds and 2,000-plus blocks in his career.

I was lucky enough to see them playing against the Magic on January.
They lost, but it was a good one.
Hope they will take that one.

    GO PISTONS!

BIG chance to win this one. Dare I say it, we SHOULD win.

    Why?

Look @ this tweet from Keith Langlois –

Looks like Howard and Pietrus are now out for tonight’s game and Nelson and Redick are questionable, all with stomach illness.

Also, Kuester is apparently going to tinker with lineup combinations. Who else is expecting to see more Bynum/Hamilton and Stuckey/Gordon?

If we played like we played @Orlando. We win this by 10. I am so disappointed that we put up no resistance. This is the most depressing loss of the season. Hamilton and Gordon go 5/20 or something like that. Bass goes 10/10. Again, the team is just frustrated.

I am at the point now where no one (except probably Ben Wallace) deserves to start. Any starting lineup changes I will support. Something needs to change and no player can say that they have earned playing time.

about half the team put on their uniforms and plodded up and down the court like they were mules on a plow.

Our closers were decent: Charlie V, Greg Monroe, Stuckey, Prince, and Ben Gordon

Q tried to close with the only guys that seemed to care.

How can you lose to a team that is missing 5 starters? We had better talent on the floor there is no excuse for being this lazy.

Here’s an embarrassing stat: Rebounds 35 to 22 with Ben Gordon making 9 rebounds including a wicked sky jump over Gortat. Wallace had 1 rebound. Maxiell had zero. Greg Monroe had 2. Austin Daye is still in the dog house btw.

The detroit pistons, embarrassingly pitiful, whiny and lazy. I dare you to blame coach Q for this one. You see Prince played 40 minutes you know why? Cause he tried to win the game that’s why. Stuckey with 7 assists, that amazed me, he tried too.

Tough to watch down the stretch. These is simply no reason we should have lost this game. We have a pretty easy stretch coming up and this would have been a nice momentum booster. Look at the schedule. 8 of the next 10 games are 100% winnable. Unfortunately the Pistons have been throwing away opportunities left and right this season…

I CAN NOT BELIEVE HOW BAD WE ARE RIGHT NOW! Except that we have no team leader or impressive talent that needs to be watched by the other team or that the starting 5 are going through the motions while hungry guys starve on the bench. Ok, maybe I can believe how bad we are right now…

Nat please buy this team ASAP…..They say when you hit rock bottom no place to go but up but leave it to our pistons to find a shovel and dig deeper..We need help and we need it now this is painful to watch.
