The 2-5 Pistons are in Portland for the first game of their West Coast road trip to take on the 5-3 Trail Blazers. Detroit, who hard a hard time getting their first to victory’s wont have an easy go in Portland.
The good, though it’s the longest of the two West Coast trips, it’s probably the easier of the two. With Portland Tuesday night, the Clippers on Friday, the Kinds on Sunday and the Warriors to finish it off on Monday. The bad, the Pistons have lost four straight to Portland.

Another blowout…sigh.
The team needs to seriously figure out what is wrong with their third quarters. You can’t dig yourself these massive holes on the road when you are not a good team and expect to win.
Ouch Tay… “Even our wins didn’t feel like wins”
“You have to prepare and do whatever it takes to be ready in the beginning of that third period –- whatever it takes for you to get that energy to play at a high level,” Kuester said. “I can’t exactly pinpoint exactly what we can do, but I know that we have to become better at it.”
The coach can’t pinpoint what we need to do. Uh oh.
Sorry, but that gem from Kuester was the only highlight of the night. I’m a big fan of Kuester, but c’mon mate, you don’t tell the world that you don’t know how to get your team playing at their best. I did have a chuckle at that comment.
Blazers make it 5 in a row.
