Villanueva calls Kevin Garnett out on Twitter for calling him a Cancer Patient

If the Pistons worst start in 11 years wasn’t bad enough…or the back and fourth between Tayshan Prince and John Kuester didn’t cause enough drama.  Now we have Charlie Villanueva’s 2:00 am tweets calling out Kevin Garnett. We all know what a trash talker KG is, but this is low.

Here is the first Tweet:

At fist glance you think, here we go again. Then when you hear the why, you tend to understand.

Come on KG…really? Garnett has been a total DB on court his entire career, but to sink to this is beyond just playing the game.  And the fact that he felt the need to bring it to Charlie and a Pistons team that clearly is no match for the Celtics is low class. Suck it KG!

I’m with Charlie V on this one.

This is terrible man… it’s just not a game anymore when you take it there. The worst thing is they were beating the Pistons pretty bad… see and this is how it happens ask Artest. He started the whole Pistons Palace Brawl. Throwing salt in the wound. This is way more serious because.. everyone knows someone who his going through hell right now because of cancer. It’s sad that these guys are just that stupid to “get in your opponent’s head” this way…

To all the ppl who know someone or themselves dealing with this very debilitating disease, my heart and prayers go out to each and everyone of you and to your family. Let’s continue to support the fight for a cure.

Hey can someone post the video of KG backing off like a bitch, when Mcdyess was going after him a few years ago.

    Good times.

Wonder at what point of the game it was said, cause i would have flagrant-ed the shit out of Kg. Hopefully re-injuring that groin of his.

Obviously cancer is a terrible disease that effects millions of lives. And is certainly no joking matter, particularly to those directly effected. But….

    1) People talk mass smack in the NBA, much of which isn’t printable for any type of forum. Not saying what was said was right, but that’s the culture. Always has been, always will be. You kind of look like a chump by tattling on Twitter. Unless something was said specifically about an ailing family member (like Derek Fisher’s daughter several years back) you really don’t have any right to complain. Moms, wives, STD’s, etc. are all fair game in the NBA smack talk world. Not saying it’s right, but it’s the way it is. Go play friendly basketball at the Y if you don’t like it.
    2) Charlie V., (who’s played surprisingly well in 4 games) challenged Garnett to a fight “in a ring”? Charlie, I love ya, but everyone has seen your doughy physique. You’re not beating up KG, even if you came from Queens. And went to a prep academy btw.

Thats a serious offensive comment from an NBA player. I know people call AI “the cancer”, but that didnt came from an nba player.

KG. He’s that kid that talks mad smack and then gets scared and runs away when he realizes someone is going to do something about it. Good thing he didn’t start no drama with Ben Wallace. What a punk. Never did like that cat.
