Hes the hungriest on the team right now, and he wants another one before his time is done…..C’mon Big Ben one more Defensive Player Award is in you…even if your hair is already turning grey 🙁
on the bright side Monroe got 10 rebounds. we needed a big man for rebounds and defense, not so much passing, so at least he got that going. Plus we still outrebounded Boston. of course it’s a loss though, and that’s the part that counts. 🙁 and Daye looks to be out of his shooting slump (7/14)
This loss was inevitable, but worrying. I know it is a long season and all that, but this team looked like a team struggling with an 0-4 record. The energy wasn’t there.
I was impressed with Villanueva in that first half, and we had done enough to stick with the Cs right up until the last minute of that second quarter. Then, Ray Allen hits a three off a really nice play, finally Rondo hits a three the Pistons were begging him to take. When that happens, you know it is not your night. Unfortunately, the Pistons came out in that 2nd half believing that it wasn’t their night.
Good to see Monroe get some minutes, but I wish people would see that his effort is not good enough to be worthy of playing time at the moment. He has the skills, but he seems to give up on plays a little too easily. Hopefully Daye will break out of his slump after tonight’s performance.
Tomorrow we get to do it all over again, I really want to see a green W on the right hand side there. Actually a couple would be nice.
They have great veterans on the team, but no leadership and no solid point guard…..hmmmmnn anyone that thinks Stuckey would be a starting point guard on any other team is smoking something……Two undersized guards on the team Gordon & Stuckey that are better bench players that players, are not going to cut it, it’s not going to happen never…..and neither is Charlie villawhateva, that was a horrible pickup, they need a solid point gurad that is a proven leader like a billups was, sorry to bring his name up but if we still had him we would have been in the mix for the last two years, maybe not have won it, but we would have been up there with the top’s in the east. As soon as he was delt chemistry and leadership went out the window, along with any chance of them being decent, and now everyone thinks that dealing tay and rip away is going to solve it, yea right, do that and then your jsut as good as the Timberwolves lol
