The 25-53 Pistons are in Miami to take on the 44-34 Heat Friday night. Even plagued with injuries all season long, I think the Pistons still have the talent to beat any team on a given night. But you will be hard pressed finding anything remotely positive about this team in the eyes of the national media.

The Miami Heat are enjoying one of their best runs since their championship season of 2005-06. With no quality opponents remaining, they have a strong chance to carry their winning streak into the playoffs.
It may be deserving with a 25-53 record, but it’s like kicking someone when they are down.
Jason Maxiell, and Rip Hamilton are both game time decisions.

Playing toughly!
Gotta listen to tonight’s game, since I don’t have NBAtv. I heard Prince had a sweet dunk in the 4th (hope it makes the highlights). BG is the real deal tonight.
Ben Gordon haters SIT THE F*** DOWN!!!!!!
He’s healthy now and look what he can do getting back into game shape.
Too bad the season is ending but im looking forward to next season so much more after what i’ve seen this game.
3 game win streak! Welcome to the 2009 -2010 NBA Season Mr. Gordon!
Man, I’d hate to be a Heat fan when they verse a “quality opponent”.
Only taken 79 games, but finally, finally, Gordon showed us what he can do in a Pistons uniform. 7/11 from downtown. Prince was huge in the first half, and took a backseat to Gordon in the second half. Villanueva and Maxiell were good off the bench.
Weird how the Heat shot 56% and only scored 99 points, they did turn the ball over a lot.
I ask again, why did it take SO LONG for Kuester to get on the back of his players. If the Pistons recent good play had anything to do with Kuester’s spray, then it should have been done back in December.
Bodes well for next season. Hopefully we get lucky with the lottery and get a top 3 pick. Make some good offseason moves and then come back next year a better team.
We are set at the 1, 2, and 3. We need two to four solid big men – one should be a premier big. Big Ben can hold down the veteran slot. Jonas can hold down the development slot. Now we need a star and another legit big. CV and Wilcox do not factor in to this equation. We need to trade a 2 and a 3 to get our star 5 and we need to sign a legit backup – that is the math for contention.
trade rip and maxy for a quality big, UNLESS we get monroe or cousins then id just let wilcox and kwame walk sign will and wallace back and keep the same team. then the following year we can get rid of rip and get something better in return then.
o and i think we end the year on a 6 game win streak. GO PISTONS
Gordon and Rip are locked up stuckey is best trade bait unless bynum sign and trade happens.
Rip is not untradeable like many think. He has only 2 full years and a 3rd partially guaranteed. There would be a few teams willing to take that on if it meant challenging the elite teams. Prince is probably our best trade bait contract wise – around 10 million in the last year.
