The Pistons vs. The Pacers

The 23-48 Pistons are in New Jersey to take on the 8-63 Nets.  The Pistons may actually win this one so you might want to tune in. But you never know, Detroit has dropped 13 of 15 overall and nine in a row away from home for its worst road skid since 11 straight defeats Dec. 4, 2001-Jan. 11, 2002.

I’m still hoping for more Summers Daye time.

Will Bynum still has something to prove…that’s why he is still improving. He’s BYNUMITE

*Chuckles* Seems like Eli tried to get Bynum to say that he deserves his starting roll. Bynum believes it, but he isn’t going to go out and say it.

Starting Lineup for the rest of the year should be:

    Bynum,
    Stuckey,
    Summers,
    Jerebko
    Maxiell

Limit Tay, Gordon and Rips minutes to less than 20.

    What?

    Bynum, Stuckey, Summers, Jerebko, J-Max!?!?!?!?!

No that would be a disaster.
why limit Tay and Rips Minutes?

Tay has become very solid this season, of course hes going into the lineup.

    Starting Lineup should be:

    Stuckey
    Rip
    Tay
    Jerebko
    Maxiell

and give Summers some more minutes that dude is very good at scoring within his minutes, replace him with Charlie V’s Time. I hate Charlie V.

i was watching the san antonio game the other day and at halftime tim legler was talking about if the nets could get 10 wins. And they said they have the pistons friday and tim legler goes “thats a win right there. The pistons are in a freefall right now. That’s a win” honestly there is a chance were gonna lose cause nets are run and gun and our horrible transition defense and quick shot clock shots allow other teams to get out and run

    Summers,
    Jerebko

is not that bad lineup in my opinion, considering we arent going anywhere this season, might as well give the young players taste of starter jobs.. and save Tay and Rip some health with limited minutes. Not saying anything about wins here.

Why is Rip getting less minutes? wtf at half he only has 11 minutes 4 points. Is Coach Q on crack?

No, it’s just that Rip is ice cold this week.

Yeah, if this is a loss, it’ll sum up the whole year.
When we talk about “games you should win”, Pistons are that game to every other team.

    Game ain’t over yet though.

Let Lopez 37+10, career game? Kidding? WTH is in the city I’ve been rooting for 22 years…Incredible. Q is ..You know. And Gordon, CV, Pip are tired. Let them go, trade or what so ever. I understand lottery, but not this way. Greatest game ever for Pistons. P.S. Sorry for my English. I’m CSKA MOSCOW press-officer. I’m sure that with THAT game we’ll beat Pistons by 40. P.P.S. I’mm 18-years Pistons fan since we had NBA on Russian TV. And I’m really feel VERY ashamed

This is a good way to measure how important Ben Wallace has been to us all year. Without him we lose to the nets. Next year, dont expect him to play 35+ minutes. Big Ben has been having a great year all year with a completely inferior team.

Nets are playing for something were not they wanted this one more and they got it..
Plain and simple people its just about progressing the rookies by getting them solid minutes…
This season isn’t the end of the world were gunna get a great draft pick and have some things to look foward to this offseason..
Piston fans are so spoiled we really are and have been for about the past decade…
It’s just one bad year who knows what this team is gunna look like next year..
For the record though I want RIP GONE from this team talk about no passion at all and shitty play and TO’s…
    If he leaves good riddence!

Bynum is the kind of player that will get better every year. He’s the kind of player, the Pistons need and he is the kind of player the organization stands for. He never complains, even when he knows he’s right, and yes I guess Eli tried to get him to say that he wants the starting job, but he he’s a reporter, and Willy just knows it better.

    I love this guy.

Oh and man he does have a big nose. 🙂

    Materansky is that you?!)))
I’ve been watchin’ this game with a sense of urgency for our team. I wanted them to win BADLY. You know why? Because this loss to NJ is not a part of a plan, it’s all about how bad our team is right now.
I refuse to look at the boxscore…
It’s not my team, the Pistons just can’t allow Lopez+Yi score 37+31, where is the D?!
    This game was absolutely ridiculous…

Why does Q keep taking Bynum out? What an idiot! This is why we continue to lose. Joe D needs to get rid o the “old heads” and allow this young team to mature. I see great things ahead if he does. Sorry Q…you need to go!
