The Pistons vs. The Sixers

The 8-12 Pistons are in  Philadelphia to take on the 5-16 76ers, with their newly acquired guard Allen Iverson. I know that there are still plenty of Iverson fans around the league, but I bet you won’t hear Pistons fans speaking too kindly about “The Answer.”

In Iversons’ first game back with the team who drafted him,  his Sixers ironically took on Chauncey Billups and the Denver Nuggets. Iverson put up 11 in his debut, while Ba Ba Ba Billups lit the 76ers up for 31.

Still no solid answer about Rip Hamilton or Tayshaun Prince returning to the floor, and now it looks like Ben Gordon could be sidelined as well.

I, sadly, think Iverson is going to have a good game, at least offensively. He’ll most likely be guarded by a hobbled Will Bynum and an ancient Chucky Atkins, neither of whom is really known for great on the ball defense anyway. While we’re small and Stuckey is taking on the real AI, Iverson will have no trouble scoring.

jj was dang good))) stuckey+atkins is the best combination, Stuckey scores and dishes at will!
You don’t have to wash leather jacket in the kettle. Let Stuckey play on his natural position)

Chi, Ind lost their games, Cavs almost lost to Houston – what a wonderful day)))

    Look, Iverson 30% from the field 3of10, 11pts, 5of6 ft, 0 boards, 3 assists, 6 turnovers, 2 steals
Now Atkins made 3 of 7 from the field, 8 pts, 2 of 2 ft, 1 board, 4 assists, ZERO TOs, 2 steals
Atkins >>> AI in this game!
We limited Young to 4of 12 or something, Brand didn’t get his boards (say thanks now to Jerebko on the off.glass)
We made a heck of a job today and THE ONLY THING WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVOID TO DO – LET STUCKEY PLAY 1on1 WITH IGUODALA in the last offencive play
But he did. As always. And yes, he was blocked, but how can we judge a winner?! He made the game, thank you Stuckey, Jerebko, Big (I mean HUGE) Ben Wallace and everyone in the team, I am happy now with away win and 3 straight!

I dont think it really has to do with him playing the 2, tonight he actually had most of his success at the 1, punning the pick and roll and taking it to the hoop. I think hes turning the corner abit right now, hes learned to not always pick up his driblle if theres no pass, which makes him alot more un predictable around screens and so on.

Stuckey is a combo guard he can play the 1 or the 2 and guard the other teams best guard, and hes only going to get better.

I wouldnt trade Stuckey for Rondo. And if you would, you let ESPN furl your mind.
