Charlie Villanueva is a Highlight Reel no matter what he’s doing on Court

by | Aug 26, 2009 | 27 comments

Here is a great YouTube video of Charlie Villanuava’s Top 10 plays of the 2008-2009 Season.

httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mSdKg_h_O9w

What prompted the @CV31 video?  This tweet he posted last night of this delightful video

“For those of ya that listen to reggaeton, check me out doing the Pepe dance: http://bit.ly/Lcfzt — LOL too funny!!!”

and ….it’s a hint to what the Sheedburgler is giving away over on my twitter accout.

There were few very good things, but those lob passes are not worth watching, unless you are giving credited to the passer.

Am I the only one who finds these “highlights” to not really be much of anything? The last one was sick, but it was on McDyess lol.

LET MAXIELL GET 30 MPG PLAYING TIME!!!

thanks nat again you have managed to waste 3minuteas and 40 sec of my life looking at crappy, top 10 highlights…. wow can’t wait for the pre season to start

Wow, I’m sure that 3 minutes and 40 seconds you wasted would have been really productive if you weren’t web-jacked by Need4Sheed. You probably missed a riveting discussion in the Star Wars vs. Star Trek debate, obiwan. Get over yourselves. It’s a highlight video. If you didn’t like it, I’m sure you’ll live. It must be so demanding, being a pretentious fair-weather fan.

Most of those were routine plays until maybe the top 4 or so. Nothing overly impressive. Chauncey’s face was classic after Charlie’s halfcourt shot, lol.

Great highlight. We’re looking forward to see if Villanueva will contribute. Do you think he will contribute?

Is it just me or does CV remind you of a young kinda poor mans Sheed or what?

That #1 play was tough to watch. I rememeber that game, and it was an aweful game for the Pistons which I watched with my Bucks-fan friend.

dances (like sheed’s pregame dancing) and getting in fights with varejoa and Big Z (like Sheed)… looks like he’ll fit right in!

differences? sheed plays defense haha… though villanueva also takes it to the basket more than sheed… so some pluses and minuses there

oh forgot to add… like sheed he had a crazy far buzzer beating 3 pointer against the nuggets (tho much less dramatic)

So the highlight video isn’t the best. So what? If you took Sheed’s top 10 plays from this year it’d probably be worse than this, ditto with Hamilton. You don’t have to be a highlight player to be effective. I thought #4 was sick though, beautiful posterization on a 7 footer. Przybilla ain’t no slouch on defense either.
