The NBA announced today that Detroit Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey has been selected as one of 18 players to participate in the 2009 T-Mobile Rookie Challenge & Youth Jam being held on Friday, Feb. 13 in Phoenix during NBA All-Star 2009.
Stuckey will anchor the backcourt of the Sophomore Team that also includes Houston’s Aaron Brooks and Luis Scola, New York’s Wilson Chandler, Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant and Jeff Green, Atlanta’s Al Horford, L.A. Clippers’ Al Thornton and Philadelphia’s Thaddeus Young.
I believe he should also be in the All-star game.
Are these going to be on National Television?
Way to go Rodney! Finally, one of our youth gets some recognition.
Ski Dp3: I think it is, but I’m not sure.
YEAH!!! WOOOOO ALRIGHT YEAAAAAAAAAA
SUCK IT AI
One of the only positive Piston news this year… Happy for Stuckey!
Yes, it will be televised on TNT.
Good no-brainer
Stuckey’s the best sophomore guard by far
How did Aaron Brooks get in?
good. I really would have questioned the people who decide the roster if stuckey wasnt in there.
😀 stuckeys going to be an MVP!
It was obvious he was goin to make it look at his rookie class…no pg better there! Give him 1 more yr and he will be in the ranks of Brandon Roy, Al Jefferson, Deron Williams and all them and then…he will surpass them to go into the ranks of Dwayne Wade, K. Bryant, and LeBron.
