Amir Johnson a fan of Sponge Bob Square Pants?

by | Dec 23, 2008 | 17 comments

I don’t have to tell you that I’m a huge Amir Johnson fan, there is proof all over this site to attest to it.  So when I saw the little piece that they ran on FSN about him during a break in the action I paid close attention.  Amir and his holiday spirit, along with Meijer, made 50 local foster care children smile this holiday by making sure they have something special on Christmas day.

So we find out the Amir is good people and that he’s such a big fan of Sponge Bob Square Pants that it caused him to lose his pants.

The evidence is a plain as day. When the video clip starts Amir is in his Nike sweats, when the video finishes and in line checking out his items he’s donning a pair of Sponge Bob Square Pants pajama bottoms.

Nice.

I have the perfect gift to get him now if he wants to go the headband route during games.

It goes without saying that some comments on this site just get looked right past considering who’s name our on them, in fact I can tell at time that certain Steve goes by different names.

You can’t tell a person who to like or dislike….

You have a happy holidays with all your doom and gloom Steve. Some of us like to look on the bright side of things.

    Great post.

As Mr. B. says “Amir is one of the nice guys”

There is a lot to be said for nice guys, even though a lot of people today don’t relate to it.

Amir keep up the good deeds.

Your day on the court will come in the not to distant future.

In case anyone noticed Amir did a very good job against Josh Smith on Sunday. He held is ground against him and Smith who scored at will in the paint against Prince couldn’t do squat against Amir.

Another 10 pounds of muscle, which Amir should add by next year and he will be able to hold his position against all the Power Forwards in the league.

Curry needs to wake up and let Amir use his fouls.

Greg Oden whose numbers per 36 minutes are about equilvalent to Amir’s is allowed to use up his 6 fouls. Curry should let Amir do the same.

    In Oden’s last 3 games

    Minutes— 20
    Points—– 8
    Rebounds— 5
    Fouls Committed–5

including fouling out against Denver last night in 21 minutes.

Curry needs to let Amir use up his alloted fouls by league rules and also guys like Iverson, Prince and Tay need to pass the ball to Amir in the post, after all he has the highest FG shooting percentage on the team.

Amir can make his bunnies which is a lot more than Dice can do and Amir can even muscle down defenders in the low post and score or draw the foul.

    Amir for Dice

    Change we can believe in

This is Mike and I approve this message

That’s a good lineup except Amir can’t play SF, lol.

The starters need to be Stuckey, AI, Tay, Sheed, and Kwame.

    Second Unit:
    Bynum
    Rip/Affalo
    Herrmann
    Maxiell/Amir
    McDyess

Amir is a nice guy and would be a better player if MC gave him consistent minuets.
That is so cool how in the store there is just a whole section for the Pistons. I wish there could be some of that at stores where I live but of course I live in Hawaii.

Virtually all of the things you state is supprisingly accurate and it makes me ponder why I had not looked at this in this light before. Your piece truly did switch the light on for me personally as far as this particular topic goes. However at this time there is one point I am not necessarily too cozy with so whilst I make an effort to reconcile that with the core theme of the point, let me observe just what all the rest of the subscribers have to point out.Well done.

Hmm – Good post! These days i must remember 10 years ago. 9/11 – where were you if this happened? I was in the office, plus a co-worker came rushing in and told so what happened… I couldn’t accept is as true and that we all ran into the conference room and gathered across the TV and watched news all day long before late evening. Nothing else was in the news for weeks thereafter. Let’s just hope this never happens again.
