The Pistons host the beat up Wizards tonight at The Palace. Antawn Jamison and Caron Butler will be doing most of the work for the Wizards with Gilbert Arenas sidelined after a third knee operation in 1 1/2 years and center Brendan Haywood possibly out for the entire season after surgery on his right wrist.

This will be the first time Jason Maxiell will take the court after signing his new four year 20 million dollar deal with Detroit.

“Deep inside, I’m a Bad Boy and I fit here,” said Maxiell, drafted 26th overall out of Cincinnati in 2005. “I love playing for Joe (Dumars) and Mike Curry and feel this is going to be home for a while.” Via The Detroit Free Press

Great game just got back from it!!! My buddy and I got on TV for our Herrmann sign =P it was a classic! Even sheed n chauncey were loving it in the first quarter. They spotted us n started dieing. Great game I hope this is a sign of things to come from Herrmann and the bench.

good win the only thing that scares me is that the last 2 games we couldn’t hold a big lead. against indiana we let a 16 point lead go down and today we let a 17 point lead go. I thought that the Pistons were past this complacent stage but we will have to wait to see if this happens in other games.
Overall very very good bench play. walter and max and even kwame were doing very well.

“Walter Herrman’s highlights. I think a ton of people have jumped on his bandwagon already~”

That comment is entirely true, and quite irritating. I’ve known about Hermann’s ability a while. I remember talking him up once to a Pistons’ fan only to find out the guy didn’t know who I was talking about.

He’s got a sad history, I’m hoping his future is big. :]
