If you didn’t know by now, Michael Curry has his rotation in place. And I think most of you will say “It’s Amirzing!”
“We have the starting five (Rasheed Wallace, Amir Johnson, Tayshaun Prince, Rip Hamilton and Chauncey Billups), and then Max (Jason Maxiell), Dyess (Antonio McDyess) and Rodney Stuckey — those eight guys are going to play heavy minutes,” Curry said Thursday after putting the team through a rare light, no-contact practice. “I count anything over 15 minutes as heavy minutes, so those guys are going to play over that every night and I don’t see that changing.” Via The Detroit News
Amir will be out there hustling with the rest of them tonight in Washington, but unfortunately we won’t be able to see this pre-season game. We can however listen to it on 1130 AM WDFN The Fan and through the NBA Live audio stream. Tip off is at 7 pm.
Rodnet Stuckey is gonna turn alot of heads this season, he has me so excited for this season.
I know it’s just pre-season, and doesn’t mean anything, but holding the Wizards to 62 is just harsh.
I’m glad to see our young players getting used now
No matter what happens with year when the dust settles, at least we’ll see the bench and it will be exciting. I don’t know about everyone else but I think it got boring to watch a Flip Saunders coached team. It was just so predictable. You can really tell my the body language that these guys like playing for Curry. I’m excited about this season.
