JJ hickson is sick. They compare him to chris wilcox? I live in seattle and Wilcox is the only guy I like on the sonics(im a sonics-hater). If it’s an accurate comparison, JJ Hickson could be a very entertaining player to watch. As for the other guys? J. Jones looks like a badass and Sasha Kaun has an awsome name but I don’t Kaun has much of a future in the NBA. I’m definately not a BYU fan and would be a bit upset to see Plaisted on the team.

I just wanted to give my thoughts on all the trade rumors. First, I think that trading for T-Mac is a terrible idea. He’s getting older, he’s extremely injury-prone, and he can’t win in the playoffs. He’s not even an elite scorer anymore (under 22 ppg last year). Combined with his poor leadership and defense, he’s not a good choice.

Carmelo Anthony, on the other hand, is perfect. He’s not a great defender, but he’s not going to single-handedly turn the Pistons into a poor defensive team, as some people seem to think. He’s only 24 years old and will provide somewhere around 25-30 ppg, along with the solid post presence that we need. Some people don’t like his attitude, but they are missing the big picture: this guy is a perfect fit.

And, I have finally decided, 100%, that Prince is overrated and needs to go. For a “great defender”, his defensive stats aren’t very impressive: he only averages 4-5 boards per game. And, he has never averaged more than 1 steal or more than 1 block per game for an entire season. Plus, he’s too passive on offense. See ya later Tayshaun, don’t let the door hit you on the way out!

One other thing: I’m surprised there haven’t been any rumors regarding a Prince for Shawn Marion sign-and-trade deal. Assuming that Marion doesn’t want to stay in Miami, I think this deal makes a lot of sense. The Pistons get an elite small forward, and the Heat get a solid player (instead of nothing) in return for Marion. Marion would help the Pistons as a whole, because he’s probably the most active player in the league, and he would set a good example for the rest of the starters to play with more effort and live up to their full potential.
