by | Jun 12, 2008 | 9 comments

Joe Dumars talks to WDFN’s Matt Derry about the state of The Pistons and new Head Coach Michael Curry. You can find the podcast on Stoney and Wojo’s Podcast page as well as the direct link right here.

Matt posed the “Were the inmates running the asylum?” Joe also talks about hiring a rookie coach.

New Pistons head coach Michael Curry talked to Stoney and Wojo on Tuesday. It’s up on their Podcast page as well as the direct link.

I must say I have been impressed with what Curry has had to say thus far.

Also, Curry will be on the Jim Rome show today at 4:30 on ESPN. I’ve got the DVR set for those of us who can’t watch the show live.

I have a feeling this core will be together again nothing will happen and we wont make it out of the semis next yr or first round..i dont see dumars pullin the trigger on anyone, i hate this whole group of UNDERDOGS as they like to say, “if it aint ruff it aint right”
“were gonna flip the switch when we feel like it” thats horseshit, they strut around like they win the ship every yr, theres only one thing, they arent that good!, overrated by detroit fans for sure, i want to see gayshaun go since sheed looks like hes staying and billups as well.. rips got my respect he plays every night…unlike billups who shows up sometimes and thinks his shit dont stink, im done im jus all worked up about this trade and cant wait anymore to find out who is commin and who is goin, thats how i am.. im a pesamist so i jus figure nothing gonna happen so im not gonna get myself excited but i still will be tho…oh and xxxriphammyxxx who r u to call anyone a moreon? ur tuff over the internet kid, check nuts we can run it anytime.

    if anyone thinks stoudemire is leaving phoenix, three things are happening;

we give up sheed, max and possibly tay and maybe another rook.

    you are crazy.

    phoenix is crazy.

    All we need is Melo.

Trade Chancey for Melo, trade Tay for a backup pg (Marbury)

    Stuckey
    Rip
    Melo
    Sheed
    Max

    Camby would be nice though.

Because the more you think about it, the more it looks like Chauncey is the one mailing it in most in the playoffs.

However, I have a hard time keeping Rip and losing Chauncey. Having a well oiled backcourt is so important in this league. I’m not all for Chauncey going.

It’s tough, because everybody is accountable, it’s like picking a body part to blow off.
