Hey Nat, do you think that Avery should have been named head coach? I mean, honestly. I know we all are on the Joe D bandwagon, but do you think Avery could be better for the team?

i guess the nugg doctor is content with his team’s annual struggle to make the playoffs, and quick first round exits.

Boston has had NBA basketball since Genesis, the fans should be better than that.

    You stay classy Boston.

Meh, Boston fans in general are just… different. Sorta like Cowboy fans. Can’t say i’m shocked.

And i may be the only Piston fan not opposed to Carmelo, albeit for a reasonable price. We really do need someone to create their own offense, regardless of what people like us think of when we think of Carmelo Anthony. Lets face it that Tay’s defense is already declining.

tay is one of the only dudes in the league that can guard le bron straight up.

what about rip??? can’t he create his own offense?

mobius… no one can guard lebron hes un guardable sure he trys but he did a real good job in game 5 last yr didnt he.. trade gayshaun please..rather have artest

Lebron?! Tay couldn’t even check Pierce to save his life!

Rip actually doesn’t create his own offense for the most part. His dribbling is weak and he is best at getting open without the ball. we saw what happened when CB was out; Rip got most of the shots yet the ball stopped moving.

    Max isnt going anywhere.

Im Pro-Melo, the Pistons will not get anywhere without a superstar, its called politics.

    Avery>Curry

Chauncey and Tay should be out of here, get what you can for them while theyre on their decline.

    Move Dyess to 6th man.

Sheed.. Keep sheep unless we can get more value out of him.

no, no, no. if u put maxiell on pf, it’ll be a mismatch nightmare for pf who has the height and strength advantage, i love max’s energy and all, but in reality, it’ll be difficult.

I have no problem at all with Melo in Detroit, I can picture him in a Pistons home jersey, and I have total confidence in Mr. Dumars when it comes to players. The only guys I don’t want to see here or are against were suspended in Pacers black.

Don’t be shocked when you see a budget Ben Wallace coming off the bench in a few seasons.

    THIS IS TO EVERYONE!!!!

I’VE SAID THIS A COUPLE TIMES ON THIS WEBSITE, AND HATE TO BREAK ANY HEARTS BUT….

THE NBA IS RIGGED. A FAT CONSPIRACY. THE NBA DOES WHATS BEST FOR THE NBA, AND GETTING THE RESULTS THEY WANT IS A HUGE PART OF THAT.

DONT BELIEVE ME CHECK THIS OUT

AND FOR ALL YOU WHO THINK TIM DONAGHY ACTED ALONE (INCLUDING COMMISSIONER DAVID STERN) YOUR ALL WRONG. HOW COULD HE ACT ALONE?

    yeah. **** the NBA, seriously.

anybody who isn’t a completely jaded moron knew that Kings/Lakers series was fixed.

Always a Pistons fan. Forever and ever. but ***K the NBA!

I don’t think the league is fixed, I do think Donaghy acted alone, until I see some convictions that say otherwise.

Remember, it wasn’t about fixing wins and losses, but covering the spread.

Game four of the ECF proved you can’t fix wins and losses.

I think ESPN may have a point.

Look, the pistons made six straight conference finals, basically the final four six times in a row. They won the title once during that time, something only five other teams have done during those six. Most of those five teams where the spurs. So that puts the pistons in the company of three other teams. Flip gave the pistons a record winning percentage. The past two years the pistons over played their starters, this year they lost to a very good celtics team, that isn’t to say they couldn’t of won, but that’s to say it wasn’t like we lost to the cavs.

The pistons have been close. A lot, and as frustrating as that is, when you’re CLOSE you don’t throw out the whole damned book! you make small changes. they wanna change the whole organization? Yeah they probably @#$#@ won’t make it to the conference finals.

Seriously, there are a lot of teams in the nba, only one can win the title. If you’re playing just for the title and don’t care about other accomplishments then you’re missing the spirit of the game entirely. I’m not sure if this is Joe-D or the owner, but I think they might be headed in the wrong direction.

theyre not headed in the wrong direction. in the NBA you either win or you lose; the pistons have lost the last 4 years.

And the NBA rigged stuff, I agree totally.. “professional sports” on the whole are just a distraction.. I want to replace lions/pistons alltogether with premier league but im, for whatever reason, interested in seeing what happens to the team.

I dont know if a superstar in Detroit will even be enough to make detroit one of the nbas new posterboys. Theyll probably wait til they build a new arena and redesign the jerseys to do any major revamps.

    FYI…
I just wanted to let all of you know that BLOGGER won’t publish my new posts. Have been trying to fix the problem since yesterday afternoon but I’m at the mercy of Blogger.

Like I said, I’m moving things over to a more reliable publishing setup as soon as I can but until then you have my apologies.

i think that you all need to chill out… the core is going to be broken up and it is time for a change.. not a fire sale or anything but i think trading chauncey and tay or any other combo with sheed and tay.. i just feel like we need to give a crucial piece and tay (who isnt all that special, i actually wish he touched the ball less because then sheed rip tay could have more offensive chances) to get anything worth even trading for… melo in detroit would be a blessing.. if theres any trade with miami i want d wade to be a piece of it screw first round picks and garbage players… i really think trying to get elton brand from the clippers would be a good idea a big man who can score and create for himself… but for the most part i’m gonna be comfortable with any trade joe d pulls the trigger on

interestingly, sheed was the only piston @ the curry press conference. Articles say that he was the only one there and he was talking w/ joe d’s wife behind the curtain. he declined comments… what is happening? i’m dying to find out what comes of this!
