Did Stuart Scott Just Call Tayshaun Prince Ugly?

I don’t know if Stuart Scott should be talking about looks, I’m pretty sure he’s not even allowed to buy GQ. Isn’t that the whole pot-kettle thing?

You don’t have to be smart to make remarks like that.

Larry brown called tay ugly one time to… I don;t thn he is ugly, that has be a little upsetting I have heard a few poeple call him ugly but I am sure tay doesn’t care, hes married and makes a lot of money and is on a good ball club where you don’t need looks to win games.

I happen to find Stuart Scott terribly attractive. I should also note that I have an extreme and shameful lazy eye fetish.

    No, he wasn’t.
When he said it i kind of thought that too, but that is a Prince (the artist) song lyric…

“You don’t have to be beautiful, to be my girl…You don’t have to rich, to rule my world.”

    It’s a compliment really.:)

y’all need to chill out; the line “You don’t have to be beautiful” is the opening line from the 1985 song “Kiss”, performed by Prince. ESPN dudes are always making references like that.

I know, I know, as a Pistons fan I’m quick to jump to their defense, too, but in this case, he (Scott) didn’t mean nothin’ by it.

    Later,

    George

We do know of the “Prince” reference but the way he says it just makes you think. He could have said “you don’t have to be rich to shoot like that” but he didn’t.

I don’t think he was being rude, but he is clinically retarded just the same. Stupid Scott is the most nauseating, worthless personality on the garbage ass ESPN.

I actually like Stuart Scott. I think he has a great basketball knoledge and makes interesting remarks. When I first heard him say it I thought he was referencing Tay’s ugly shot. His elbows are all sticking out and he releases just as he reaches the floor. It’s pretty ugly. But watev the Prince line sounds right

Nice to know other fans notice the “garbage” ESPN personalities. I thought it was my imagination that they were quick to criticize Detroit and slow to give Pistons props.

The commercials with Dwayne Wade are kinda funny, but Charles Barkley makes the most knuckle-headed claims and opinions. In my opinion.

The only one I like is Reggie Miller. Of course, he has that historical block with Tayshaun and the “twin” thing with Rip that makes him more personable for us. But that’s TNT though, isn’t it. Does he do ESPN?

I much prefer watching the game when Blaha and Kelser call it compared to ESPN. Even TNT is better than ESPN as they are better to the Pistons in terms of commentary.
And Tayshaun isn’t ugly – how many guys can get an arena partly full of women to cheer when he had to change his jersey (during the Chicago game in March!). I would’ve cheered loud as well!

I THOUGHT IT SOUNDED LIKE THE PRINCE SONG ‘KISS’…”YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE BEAUTIFUL TO BE MY GIRL”…BLA BLA BLA THATS WHAT I TOOK FROM IT.
