Body Language Says it All – Jameer’s Guarantee isn’t Very Convincing

by | May 13, 2008 | 7 comments

We all know now that Jameer Nelson has guaranteed a win for his team tonight against The Pistons. In fact he’s not backing down from his comments, and God Bless him, I don’t blame him one bit and Detroit doesn’t seem to care either. His team in on the brink of a summer vacation and I guess it’s his way of doing his part.

I do however have a little advice for Mr. Nelson, if you are going to make a guarantee like that at least make it sound convincing and please don’t look like you’re going to burst out in tears at any moment. Just check the video.

If anything, Sheed and company will be amused by his comments as well as Rashard Lewis’s statement of superiority. My money in on Detroit!

Jameer, next time go the Sheed route. One of my favorite Sheed lines ever,
“Put it on the front page, back page or the middle of the page, we will win game two.”

I hope the Pistons and the Palace crowd blow these fools back to Disneyworld, where they can put their magic to use.

from what i hear chauncey will be a game time decision but it’s 50 50 right now.

I actually think the pistons would play better without him. He spends so much of his energy trying to keep the crowd out of it. But in game 4 without him, there was a lot more fluidity to the offense, and I believe if Chauncey was there they would not have come back from 15 down. And correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t the Pistons come back from 22 down on Golden State when Chauncey was hurt. When was the last time the Pistons made that kind of comback with chauncey in the lineup? I’m dogging on Chauncey I just think the Pistons might play better without him against this team, but maybe it’s different at home than on the road.

I say save your strength for Boston or Cleveland, your teammates got this. And let Juan Dixon and other get some burn, we may need them later on.
