Jason Maxiell "Not For Sheed"

by | Apr 3, 2008 | 19 comments

A great perk of being a Pistons Season Ticket Holder is that you get a chance to get up close and personal with the players at “The Pistons Crew Party.” If you recall it was there I learned that Amir Johnson and Nazr Mohammed knew of the site.

Well it wasn’t until yesterday that I realized I had some more footage to share. When I got the chance to step up to our favorite Baby Eater I got quite a funny response to my question, and I just realized why. I can’t blame you Jason, Sheed can be a handful.

Sheed, if you’re ever stranded on the side of the highway and need a ride, I would suggest Maxiell to be a last resort. Jason truly has no Need4Sheed. Can you blame him?

nat, somehow i saw something different. if jason’s intention of getting back at sheed, why didn’t he just make a (funny)comment about the site, i.e. commented on “needformaxie”. it seems more like a snobby gesture than trying to get back at sheed. the footage of maxie’s interview shouldn’t have any bearing on snobbing nat, since sheed throws the ball to all and also, didn’t jason hit afflalo during afflalo’s interview, when zoo crew was featured? im not impress whatsoever of his gesture. can somebody tell me that im over analyzing this because its really disappointing to see him with this attitude with nat or with any fans.

Richard, your clearly looking into this too much. It was funny, I was there and my point about him throwing the ball at Maxie is just a funny side piece that I threw in to get a chuckle.

He didn’t need to make a funny comment, the fact that he said he wouldn’t do it for Sheed is funny in itself, at least that’s how I took it.

Jason is a nice guy and it was a very funny situation… can’t you see him smiling and laughing?

Wait till I show you Dyess……

That is pretty funny. Everybody says that Sheed is such a good teammate, but I’m guessing you have to put up with a lot of harassment as well.
Can hardly wait for zoo round two tomorow night.

Yeah, hard to give props to Sheed after getting basketballs fired at him.

That said, if Max was asked to give a shout out to need4babies, he would have done so without hesitation.
