Chris Webber Calls it Quits

by | Mar 25, 2008 | 5 comments

“Chris Webber is ending his comeback attempt with the Golden State Warriors and will retire after 15 seasons in the NBA.

Warriors spokesman Raymond Ridder says Webber will make the announcement at a news conference Wednesday. The news was first reported by ESPN.com.

Webber played only nine games this season in his comeback attempt with the Golden State Warriors before being sidelined by a bum knee that has hampered him in recent years.

Webber was the most prominent member of the Fab Five at Michigan and played for Golden State, Washington, Sacramento, Philadelphia and Detroit in his NBA career.” Via NBA.com

This is why
Joe Dumars didn’t sign Chris.

I am really sad that C-Webb didnt get a ring. He did he really good job when we needed him and i would like to thank him for coming back the D and trying to capture a ship. I kinda saw this coming.

Though I’m not his fan, but I think Chris Webber has a good run with his NBA career, despite not winning a championship and all.

Natalie, I still don’t get why Joe D. didn’t sign him. It’s cause he didn’t want Chris bumping around from team to team?
