No help for the gangsta!

by | Jan 4, 2008 | 22 comments

We all know how Sheed and Maxiell feel about Primoz diving for a loose ball with 35 seconds left in the game and a 43 point lead, but it’s not like he doesn’t do it all the time. During the Pistons – Pacers game last week he went running for the ball right at the Pistons bench. You would have thought that he would get some help cushioning his fall from his teammates, since he is the team gangsta and all, but the bench scattered quicker than Flash.

lol Primoz was like “jeez, thanks, teammates.” What I find funny was that during the Bulls game earlier this season, when Hinrich flew into the Pistons bench, Rip just leaned over a little bit, he didn’t run for cover. But then again, Hinrich is no gangsta and he’s not Primoz’ size either.

I think cushioning is somewhat of a privilege that is available only to veterans. But I kinda wanna see Primoz bowling the bench over though.

I think I’m in love with this team. Thanks for putting this up, Natalie.

With guys like this on the bench, I’m gonna love what the post season looks like. Does anybody really think we should bring Webber back? I THINK NOT!!!!!!!!

lmao. If Rip/Stuckey hadn’t cleared out, Primo would’ve landed on Rip.

It seems like everytime someone goes diving into the pistons bench Rip is sitting right where they hit.. but he knows how to get out of the way quickly!

let’s please, please try to stay healthy. Eventually Primoz will hurt someone else, or himself. I like the effort, but settle down bruh… you’re gonna take out someone valuable, maybe yourself.

Yeah I felt kinda bad for Primoz when that happened. Of course, if I were sitting on that bench I’d get the hell out of the way in a hurry too. Dude’s huge! lol

You gotta love the heart that guy plays with though. He never gives up. So gangsta. haha

Can’t wait for the game tonight. GO PISTONS!

Primo is definitely a true gangsta…especially running after that ball, as huge as he is…..man i love it every time he dives….DON’T TRADE THIS MAN!!!!!!! some players i know who do the walk but not the talk (meaning they can dress like a gangsta but can’t dive for ball, like Brezec does, and risk ur life….and spilling all the Gatorade, lol. PRIMO IS MY #1 GANSTA’

    Detroit love

Primo’s face: That was funny. He looked around like, “WTF Man, usually people would catch me… If I wasn’t so gangsta, I’ll hit somebody” XD

Rip: He was laughing so hard, I bet they all will give him a nickname because of his hustle.

HAPP: I forgot the name of the announcer (Sorry!) “What is HAPP?…It’s a promise to be there at every stage of your life.” XD XD XD I guess nobody on the bench was affiliated with HAPP because NOBODY was there for Primo.

Im pretty sure stuckey and rip were getting out of the way for their safety but prince moved to get out of the way in case he could save it. Thats pretty much the reaction when a teammate is trying to get a ball going out. I have never seen someone stop someone on their team from saving the ball but had he actually saved it there would have been no time for anyone to catch him without interfering with the play.

That would be why you wouldnt move if the player after the ball was on the other team unless you were protecting yourself
