The Pistons will try to extend their winning streak to five games tonight as they take on The Hornets in New Orleans. Detroit is currently outscoring opponents by and average of 23.8 points per game during their 4 game run of domination.

Don’t count The Hornets out though, they have an impressive 12-5 record coming into the game and are currently on a 2 game steak led by Chris Paul who’s putting up some impressive numbers so far this season. Paul is averaging 28.0 points, 9.0 rebounds, 9.0 assists and 3.0 steals while making all 20 of his free-throw attempts over his last three games for New Orleans.

Tip off is at 8:00 PM and is locally broadcast on FSN Detroit. If you can’t watch, you can always listen live or watch the live game stats on NBA.com.

Team Need4Sheed member Justin reminded me that we have plenty of Pistons fans live in the Chat Room of The Need4Sheed Forums talking Pistons Basketball during the games. If you don’t have a forum account and want to join in on the fun it’s easy to do and it’s free.

dang, what’s going on? We’re missing shots across the board! Good thing it’s only the 1st quarter, we still have a chance to come back. Fingers crossed! And man, they better not be wearing the red jerseys tonight.

Can someone pose “mms” for me who lives outside USA to watch the game, please!

I can’t watch the game, so I dont know what color they’re wearing. But since its blue, the game is far from over. If it was red, this game is over even before the Pistons landed in New Orleans.

That game was hard to watch during the 1st quarter. It was like watching a completely different team. Players were just throwing up a bunch of jumpers with double digits still on the shot clock. Crazy. But Lindsey, Maxiell and Hayes helped out in a big way.

When Hunter got that tech and I saw those girls in the stands laughing and pointing and cheering, I wanted to bitch slap the two of them. That was a horrible call.

Thank God they got it together and started playing defense and taking and making shots.

After the game ‘Sheed said that winning the last 4 games in 5 nights wasn’t that impressive but if they do it again next week, he would be impressed. Unless Ryan Field reminds him of his comment, I bet ‘Sheed will be just as modest when they go 4-0 again.

A 5-game losing streak for Cleveland? That’s ALMOST as beautiful as the 5-game winning streak Detroit’s got going.

stuckey goes to the doctor on Friday… they say he’ll probably get cleared and be ready to practice… im guessing Flip wont actually play him fo a couple weeks after that to get his legs under him and learn some of the new offense they put in

I know you guys think the bench is what sparked the Pistons to the victory in this one. Or maybe Rip. But sorry, it’s because I put on my Pistons sweatshirt when I got home from work halfway through the 2nd quarter. You’re welcome…

Thanks tdp. You need to wear that sweatshirt EVERY single game. Especially the big ones.
