The Very Familiar Pistons Starting Five

by | Oct 31, 2007 | 12 comments

The 2007-2008 Pistons is upon us as The Pistons kick it off tonight in Miami against The Heat. We have all been very excited about the new Pistons youth movement, but do you realize that this core group of Sheed, Rip, Tayshaun and Chauncey have been together for quite some time, so long in fact they have started 224 games since the ’04 season.

To get things started for the season, here is a video that highlights the Pistons solid core.

I love this squad…it is unbelieveable that they have only one ring…I will never understand that

^Yes. I believe it’s a conundrum that baffles most fans. Things that make you go…”What the shit?”

It’s possible for these boys to be the #1 quartet (in the category of most games started by the same 4 players) by June. Crazy.

I am so pumped for the season to start I can’t wait. Love the clip, I love when the pistons are interviewed they always have something nice to say about each other… I really hope for a ring this year but most of all I am looking forward to seeing our guys play with such love.

I was always a little put off by team sports in high school and went the route of one-on-one competition, but I kind of regret not trying to stick to something (especially basketball) now. I really love seeing the genuine friendship that exists on the Pistons team. They’re great people, in addition to being great players.

Amanda, remember it’s all about the Pistons and I guess we are all a bunch of Homers.. But I wouldn’t have it any other way.

As for the background, had to show some love for the Anniversary!

    Tonight couldn’t come any sooner!
