Rodney Stuckey’s NBA Transition

by | Oct 19, 2007 | 7 comments

Bennie and Jeff were in the locker room Wednesday night in Grand Rapids and got a few choice exclusive audio clips from the Pistons. This one is Rodney Stuckey’s answer to how the transition has been from college to the NBA.

Head on over to WTKG’s Sprots Extra with Bennie and Jeff’s page where they have a great clip from Antonio McDyess. More clips to come in the next day or so from Bennie and Jeff and Need4Sheed.

Got bored so decided to look up some quotes of Bill Walton because I felt like laughing, and I came across this disgusting, untrue, biased, and idiotic comment on Sheed. Take a look.

“The only thing he is worth is another teams mistake. This guy has ruined every situation he has been in. This is a classic underachiever.”

    — Bill Walton, on Rasheed Wallace. 2.8.2004

Same year we won the championship, I’m sure that shut him up Bill Walton you make me sick

That is the greatest Bill Walton quote I’ve ever heard. Hands down. Beautiful find, Dominic.

I know it’s only preseason and Detroit’s down 16 (not an impossible deficit to overcome) at halftime but it’s getting kind of tough to watch. Very sloppy basketball on the Pistons part. Not so much on the turnover side, but on the shot accuracy and selection. I can’t believe we missed our first 11 attempts. It’s been said several times this preseason and the first half’s action warrants repeating it now: Flurray has been the bright spot for Detroit. Who knew?

Time to kick to some ass in the 2nd half. GO PISTONS!

Perhaps I should have specified exactly who was supposed to kick who’s ass in the 2nd half. lol

WHOO! Great double-block by Samb and Maxiell! It maybe have been a foul, but it was pretty!

even if he’s doing fine, Rip should not play for the rest of the preseason. lol the Bilton Walton quote leaves me speechless. Who does he think he is? some basketball god? what makes him think he has the right to speak down on another player like that? That is just simply impolite, arrogant, and ridiculous. Even if he wasnt talking about Sheed, I’d still be upset. “a classic underachiever?” what is bill walton then? a classic idiot?

on a lighter note, I wished I could have come to the Pistons game tonite, I am only an hour and a half away!!! darn you, stupid biochem test!

Why are ya’ll making fun of Bill Walton! the guy makes it fun to watch ESPN games with all the random stupid things he has to say.. I think with winning a ring (if he did) would allow him to make fun of people who hasn’t. I wish J.R Smith came to the D I’m sure the locker room would probably take away the extra baggage and leave all the potential this guy was dropping 26 points with the Nuggets before A.I came in.
