Somewhere Sheed is smiling

by | Jul 20, 2007 | 9 comments

Justin Rogers reminds me that Tim Donaghy was the Ref that Rasheed got suspended for a week for threatening in the parking lot after the game when he was with Portland. I can remember it like it was yesterday, but I had totally forgotten that it was Donaghy. He was also one of the refs at The Palace the day of the infamous “Brawl.”

Chris Sheridan also gives us some more on Donaghy.

Speaking of Rip, the July 20 NBA Daily on nba.com has a little feature on his most recent camp. It’s at the 9:00 mark. He is so cute! You can also see a few glimpses of Chauncey in the USA practice recap before that.

see that goes to show you that these games were set up like most of us were speculating before. so i wonder if that corrupted our chances big time for getting to the finals, or was it really our way of playing that did us in? it could have been one or the other or even both. Deep down inside I think the “Stern Stern” has something to do with it too, but is just acting oblivious to the situation. Anyway I am glad that they caught that fradulent bastards but they need to get all of them and start scouting people that aren’t trying to make a profit off our players by doing some placebo effect type stuff. Thanks natalie on the heads up becuase this has got me heated. and i am sure that sheed IS really smiling after finding this out, figure of speech or not. I know I am. One less fake to scoop on my sheed

    Revenge for Sheed, Sweet!
But I said it before, those refs and the NBA fix these games.

I remember reading on ESPN about Jordan’s so called retirement. Somebody mentioned it was forced because they caught Jordan on tape placing thousands of dollars on a game. They never mentioned which sports though.

I hope the FBI clean out Stern and his cronies and give the fans back the game.
