I think that flopping should be eliminated from the game. Players like Varejao aka Sideshow Bob and Manu Ginobili are too soft for me.

I say they just need to stop all the floping and play basketball like men.

    ewwwww.
    I really hate anderson varajao.
I dont like how that “Pistons Draft Prospects” said that Marion could fit on the team.
he is good, but does pistons really need a star player, and could they really afford it, plus to get him they would have to trade rasheed and someone else, please they would be lucky to get just rasheed for Marion. Its more like we would need 2 of their players for rasheed.

LOL steve kerr said he isnt moving anyone so marion wouldnt come here and its stupid to think sheed would command 2 players from them marion is younger sheed isnt getting any younger and come on amare and sheed together? thats 40 techs there

I love the “deee-troit basketball” in your prediction Natalie! I agree with the Spurs in 5 – the Pistons failure to show up in all 6 games gave the Cavaliers a false sense of security. I won’t say this often – but GO SPURS! (They actually deserve to be in the Finals)

I would like to congratulate the Cavs for being the worst team to play in the finals in the past 10 years. Good job fellas. You and Stern must feel proud.

That’s a pretty hot top 7. I’d have to add in Orlando Bloom (minus the long hair and facial hair) though. Meow.

“The Pistons won their 2004 championship without anything close to that (landing a superstar) having happened for them. The players at the core of that title run remain their most valuable assets today. And there’s at least enough gas in their tank to allow Joe Dumars the opportunity to fill in around them until a similar ensemble cast – a few of them already in place – is ready to pick up the baton.”

And that’s why I love Keith Langlois.

    This isnt a dating hotline

Keep in mind all of these flopper haters, Bill Laimbeer was the oringiator, and the most active in what we know as “flopping”. Not that I don’t hate Varajeo and, really I hate him more than anyone in the league. It’s always a different player from someone we play in the finals….Kenyon Martin, Alonzo Mourning, Varajeo, etc… Also Shawn Marion wouldn’t fit on our team…and he isn’t a superstar for whoever said he was. Nash makes everyone on that team look about 80x better. Get Randolph and one more solid bench player…problem solved

    What is this?, Blind Date?

And I agree Steve Nash can make anyone look good. EX: Boris Diaw.
We need Zach Randolh more than anyone. And remember him and Sheed were former teamates.

uyen… I watched most of game 1 (while wearing my newly aquired McDyess jersey for comfort) and let’s just say that baby Bron did not put up a “superstar” performance. He got a few of his shots blocked (I was screaming: “yeah, take that — bitch!!”) Varejoke (as usual) spent a fair amount of time on his ass, but he only got a couple calls, and he actually took a few legit hits before he hit the floor for once. I ain’t gonna lie, I enjoyed that part of the game almost as much as watching LeBron get stuffed. All in all, it wasn’t that exciting to watch… but it was a basketball “fix” of sorts for me. I couldn’t watch the pre-game because I knew it would be a LeBron-a-thon and I’ve really heard all I want to about that guy. I’m sure things will get more “chippy” when they go down 2-0… and then it will get worse when they go down 3-0… and then it will just be over because you know the Spurs are going to sweep this series.

Thanks for such a comprehensive summary of the game. I can’t even turn on the TV during the game time. All this talk about breaking up the core players in order for us to get better along with worshipping Lebron is fucking too much for a girl to take. For me personally, basketball isn’t basketball if it isn’t Detroit Basketball.

“We did a very good job on LeBron, not giving him the lanes that he’s used to,” Duncan said. “It takes five guys understanding what we’re doing, understanding a game plan and sticking with it.”

When i look at the pistons defense on lebron and look at duncan’s words why does our defense seem like the total opposite duncan is saying?

If he does make a move, I have completely no idea who it will involve. A lot of fans assume Rasheed Wallace will be the first to go, but I’m not so sure. I could see Dumars making another Stackhouse-type move and trading Hamilton, since he’s not viewed as a “flawed” player around the league and would probably bring back the most bang for the buck.
    WHAT THE HELL.
THIS TRADE WAS ALREADY MADE A FEW YEARS AGO.
IF THIS HAPPENS I WILL NEVER WATCH PISTONS AGAIN. THAT WOULD BE THE MOST IDIOT MOVE.
RIP IS THE ONLY ONE THAT DOES ANYTHING IN THE PLAY OFFS THIS YEAR SO LETS REWARD HIM BY MOVING HIM TO THE BIGGEST HEAD TEAM IN THE NBA. ewwww! THAT WOULD BE THE DUMBEST MOVE IN THE WORLD. BESIDES NOT SIGNING CHAUNCEY.
i have volleyball in 2 hours and that is all i will think about now, greaaattt.

I for one am not watching the Finals. I tune in every now and then to see the score (or better yet check on the computer), but I refuse to play into Stern’s ratings game. Keep the Pistons out cause they’re “boring” and don’t have a superstar? Fine, I’m boycotting.

Trading Rip would be idiodic in so many ways. He’s our only consistent offensive player in the playoffs and he’s very valuable too us. We need to get Randolph and put him at center. He’s 6-10 270 pounds and he’s mean and nasty and he can score down low.

I do. I think that we underestimated Lebron and his ass had something to prove along with the help from David Stern and refs. The team we have should stay together and make one run at it.

man, i never thought there will be a day when I utter the words “go, spurs, go” in front of my TV…but sadly, it happened yesterday. But it’s ok, though I don’t like the spurs, i respect them. And i’m just glad that Mr. Nail Biter and King-Kong wannabe Daniel Gibson couldn’t play for shit last night.

man, i think the only thing that can comfort me now is to bury myself in pistons merchandise, like jerseys and hats and stuff.. yea, it’s sad.

I live in Houston, TX so I really wanna go to San Antonio this weekend to witness the destruction of the Cavs and their king.
