With the cavaliers having the home court advantage, I just wish Pistons will do their VERY BEST as in Billups , Hamilton and the rest will show up early.

    GO PISTONS!

And what’s with Quicken Center, I thought it’s new? What’s with all debris flying from the ceiling?

I’m so glad Tayshaun is finding the bottom of the bucket! And how about Flurray’s dunk? Not as great as the posterization of Hinrich, but nice nonetheless. Billups stilll struggling with TOs and Rip not getting much on the ‘O’ end…it’s pretty crazy. Glad McDyess got a couple to go in, too. I about jumped up out of my seat with excitement when he hit the first one. Considering how badly we played in the first half of the first quarter, a 3 point deficit isn’t too bad. Of course, by the way the commentators are talking (i.e., Marv) you’d think Cleveland was up 20 and LeBron had 30 points. No love for the D-Town boys… Oh, well. Here’s to great offense and solid defense in the 3rd quarter! CHEERS!

Was ‘Fino’s bucket over James? I can’t remember, but if it was: Hey, hey, Delfino!

I loved how the crowd gave a standing ovation before halftime with CLE up 3…

That was an interesting game. That last three that Tayshaun shot should have been a ‘Sheed three. He was on earlier in the game from behind the arc. I don’t think this game was won by the officials but there were like 5 loose ball fouls that didn’t get called. I know Gooden and James both ran into one of our players but didn’t get called for anything. I can’t believe Chauncey and Rip played so badly. Crazy shit.

They didn’t go to ‘Sheed enough in the 4th. I wasn’t really paying attention to whether or not CLE was covering him a lot or what the deal was with that but through the first two games he was our clutch player.

Yeah, LeBron is full of himself. But I probably would be too if I was praised left and right for every little thing I do. Game 4 is ours! The Cavs played to the best of their ability and Detroit had key players missing on the offensive end.

this was a crazy game, Chauncey and Rip both having off nights, this was bound to be a lost. The rest of the team had a pretty good night and I am truly surprised that we only lost by only 6pts, I do think the team did a good job
I think that they will bounce back on Tuesday, when is the last time Rip only had 7pts in a game? That’s just insane, the Cavs barely won, with both of our guards having terrible nights, that is not going to happen again, no way, I still think that this will only take 5 games to win this series. Just like Rasheed said in his interview this is nothing to be sweating over, the Pistons are gonna do it, this is their year to win it all!!!! GO PISTONS!!!

It’s not Mr. Giant Ego Lebron himself beating us nor his rarely acknowlgedged, annoying, teammates……our toughest obstacle seems to be motivation? I don’t see a fire in their eyes to beat these guys. It’s pretty much 5 vs 1 out there.

Oww, oww! I love all the positive vibes, guys. Keep that “Can do. Will do.” attitude and spread it around.

I second that “Guaransheed”, anony. 1:17. I’ve never personally guaranteed a win since I’ve been a fan but I think we’re all entitled to one like ‘Sheed. Game 4 is ours! Glad the Cavs fans and players had their fun but we will go back to Detroit with a commanding 3-1 lead!

I understand what you’re saying, Nate. It’s like the Pistons came into this series with no respect for the Cavs unlike when they went into the 2nd Round vs. the Bulls. The Bulls got their attention by pretty much beating Detroit up in the regular season and then sweeping Miami. I would have thought the near losses in Games 1 and 2 would have been motivation enough to stomp CLE tonight but with Chauncey and Rip off offensively, a win was tough to pull out. But it doesn’t matter now ’cause Tuesday is a whole new day and it’s going to be all about Detroit. ALL EYES ON YOU, PISTONS! IT’S TIME!

amanda, you seem like one of the biggest pistons fans ever… i always have thoughts about the games but i should start vocalizing them more often as you do… i told my buddies that i thought the pistons would take it in 5 because i dont see them losing another game to the cleveland lebrons… james had a great game and i give him props because he came up clutch but the stones won’t let that happen again.. our frontcourt had an off game but we will be fine because of our experience im real excited for game 4 because i know billups and rip will respond to being shut down so much in game 3… pistons in 5 as ive said from the start…

Well, i Think we really should send a message to Lebron, enough of monster dunking and punking around, tell some of the big men to rip him out, or call mr laimbeer, whatever, do as a piston MUST do, send this guy to the guard rail…, it will be a good practice, we will have to do that with duncan either. Let´s win game 4, by 30-0. GO PISTONS!!!!

Lol @ Piston fans! Lebron dunked HARD on Sheed. That was huge! Sheed won’t like that.

I’m just playing lol, I like Sheed and don’t mind the Pistons. I’m going for the Cavs in this series though cos they are underdogs. But the Pistons should probably wrap this up in 6 games…Lebron had nice mid-range today but it’s still not consistent.

i am a huge detroit fan since i was 12 and now im 24, but i cant stand those lebron comments u leave here.
apart from the fact that he actually wasnt selfish and didnt behave full of himself, what would be your game strategy after losing 2 games, and u know u need to win this game to start thinking about winning the series.

good game though, i was happy to see tay back in his game, he really needed that. sheed was sheedtastic yet again. pity that 3rd threepointer didnt fall, would make a perfect sheed highlight.

i think it will be over in the next two games. go detroit

That dunk over Rasheed…all hype no ability….the two step back three’s….again all hype. The pull up jumper with under a minute to put the Cavs up to stay….luck. You’re all right, LeBron is way overrated. I’m not delusional, I think the Pistons will win, but come on…come back to earth. Rip and Chauncey stuggled because of he Cavs D, and Tay-Tay finally got in a groove once Lebron wasn’t guarding him. Seems like the fans on this board are as full of themselves as LeBron is….

    TNT Commentators fawning over LBJ:

Kenny: for such a young guy, LBJ sure can piss into the urinal straight with no dripping, what a leader he is. Leading his team in good pissing manners.

Barkley: Well, he’s pretty good, he’s still no MJ. MJ used to piss straight with no drips from 10 feet away

    blah, blah, blah….
    anyone need tums?
Conspiracy therory: anyone else think the CAVS had too easy a trip to the Finals? Who did they play? Shitty Washington team missing 2 starters and Choking Carter’s Nets team. Stern you fuck head: trying to push LBJ into the Finals?

Right, and how will the ratings plummet to see Cavs versus Spurs

didn’t deserve to win this with that effort. They’re really not playing as a team anymore, this is essentially the third bad game in a row, there has been very little adjustments to get better. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a really nice pass.

    WHERE WAS JASON MAXIELL.
Our deep bench is what sets us apart from other teams, and they aren’t even on the floor long enough to get in a groove.

Flip Murray did have a pretty nice dunk

Looks like Hughes is going to be out on Tuesday night. The way Gibson has been playing, more so on the defensive end than behind the arc, I’m not sure whether that works in our benefit or not. Chauncey abused that kid the games I saw in the regular season, hopefully he gets his post up game going early and breaks out of his funk. No way do they shoot that well down the stretch again.

  52. Kevin

One more thing, Flip Murray played pretty well last night. I guess it’s one of the few times I’ve gotten to watch him when he’s on a good streak. As one of his primary detractors before we acquired him, I still have some issues with Webber defensively. I think Saunders needs to make changes like hockey. Every time Varajeo comes into the game, Webber should go out. He hasn’t been able to school Varajeo on the offensive end, and when they get that matchup on us they keep running that pick and roll cause Webber can’t keep up with that punk. What happened to putting Maxiell on him?
