Will the Bulls be throwing elbows?

by | May 7, 2007 | 12 comments

Chicago Sun Times Jay Mariotti columnist wants Ben Wallace to inflict pain on Rasheed in his column titled “Time to get mad, get even.”

“Oh, and Ben also has his mind on the real-estate market. He has a house for sale here. ”We’re trying to sell it this weekend,” he said. ”I’ll cut you a good deal.”

How about cutting Rasheed Wallace’s laughing mug with an elbow?”

It makes me laugh that they stood him up for dinner. He should be able to buy new friends with his $60 million.

Does anyone else see the karma of Wallace’s former teammates standing him up for dinner? Ben Wallace basically stood up the city of Detroit when he left. I really hope the Pistons sweep their way into the Finals. Let’s just hope we don’t face the Jazz. =x

I wouldn’t worry about anything Jay Mariotti says. The people in Chicago don’t even like Jay Mariotti. In general, he’s viewed as an annoying, biased jerk who writes columns with the intention of getting under his readers’ skin. Try not to let him get under yours. He takes everything to an extreme, and his opinion is pretty worthless.

    GO PISTONS

This Mariotti guy sounds like a total asshole and shit mucker.
Wallace and Wallace don’t play dirty and that’s why they got along so well then, and are still friends off the court.

Pistons respect the Bulls. I’m sure Bulls respect the Pistons. However, if any player of theirs gives an errant elbow, then you step into their space on the way down from a jumper . . . if they throw one of ours and get in their face, you back off, go get one of your expendable players, put him out there, and then send one of their key guys out of the game. That’s the Chicago way . . . irony is a Detroit team that has the history of doing it that way muuuuch better. Bill Laimbeer, you are NOT forgotten!

If the Bulls start playing rough with us it won’t matter. We are so focused right now we will use it as motivation. The Pistons will not lose more than 1 Game to this young, weak Bulls team.
