It’s almost that time Pistons fans, time for the Pistons – Bulls series to start. Big Ben will try to do everything he can to prove himself. Nocioni will try to make good on his prediction and the rest of the Bulls will be there to back him up.

What they might not be ready for is this veteran Pistons team, who after last seasons playoff disappointment have something big to prove. I have been very impressed with the Pistons business like attitude and their grit and determination. They want this championship badly and they know what they need to do to get it.

As I get ready to head out to The Palace for game one of this series I am leaving the comments up to you. Maybe you need to watch this video to get you pumped first, or maybe you need to put on your Pistons Gear to get ready. Just do what you have to do to get yourself prepared of round 2.

Feel free to talk it up with your fellow Need4Sheed readers. Make your predictions, pick your players of the game or vent it you have to. This is the Playoffs people, its time to show your colors.

Hey Natalie, if you could put together a compilation of Max going to the hoop strong I’d appreciate it. That flush over Nocioni and that other guy was absolutely filthy.

Wow 95-69 under 70 points. I knew we would win but wow the pistons came to play tonight. I love how when hunter went for the ball the anouncer called him dumars.

The Bulls got used to play against a team that doesn’t play defense (aka ‘Heat’). The Pistons contested their jumpshots and other than Hinrich, nobody is able to create a shot for his teammates on the Bulls squad.

Nice game. Loved the bench! Maxiell doing his best McDyess impersonation with those jumpers. Beautiful.

We were a little lucky that Ben Gordon got in early foul trouble and never warmed up. Other than that, superb performance by the whole team. Our bench is better, our guard tandem was better this game, Sheed was focused and active (and cool – he and rip did great at keeping their cool in potential tech situations).

Max with his rim rockers, a determined crush-the-rock-and-drive basket, and even an 18 footer, Dyess hitting his shots, Hunter with some great plays, Delfino being solid, Flip not sucking, Sheed being active and keeping his cool, Chauncey taking control, Rip taking it to the rim and keeping his cool, Tay doing a good job on Deng and then picking up the offense when the bulls forgot about him, Webber with some nice plays…

The good news went 10 deep for the Pistons tonight.

I must admit, though that Deng is a serious baller.

“3..2..please no tech!” lol I loved that part. And hey, no tech for ‘Sheed or any Detroit player tonight. Way to keep your cool and play poised, boys. Here’s to bringing that same energy and fire to Game 2! CHEERS!

Dominique sends me recaps when he has time. He is a Basketball coach so we sometimes have a hard time getting it done. He knows his stuff.
