Sheed Says

Bulls Andres Nocioni made a bold statement the other day when he said,

“We are going to win. We are going to win, of course,” Nocioni said Tuesday. “I believe we can win. We are going to play seven games, and we are going to win (Game 7) in Detroit.

It will be nice. Nice.”

Rasheed had this to say about Nocioni’s comments…

“That’s on them,” Wallace said. “They’ve got to go out there and do it. If they do, hats off, but hey, it’s going to be a hell of a fight. I’ll tell you that.”

“I know to beat us, they’re going to have to make a whole lot of them jump shots.” And that was after calling the Bulls “great shooters.”

“We’re not knocking them,” Wallace said. “We respect them. They’re a good young ball club. But hey, it’s a different type of mission we’re on. I think they’re happy to be here, and we’re on a mission to go out there and win it.” Via The Detroit Free Press

UPDATE: Need4Sheed reader Daniel Pantalleresco is not happy with Nocioni’s comments. So he made This to show his disdain for Mr. Nocioni.

What, the Bulls aren’t allowed to think they can, and will, win?

Guys, have you seen the ESPN online voting for this series?

    http://proxy.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnation/polling?event_id=2916&action=1&question21788=87899&question21789=87908&question21790=87910&question21791=87912&question21792=87914&question21793=87915&question21794=87923&question21795=87930

Are you kidding me?!? 45% of the voters in this poll think the Bulls will sweep! Only 11% or so of the total voters think the Pistons will win. Damn it, that pisses me off!

Chain, dont let it piss you off. Everytime they DONT believe in us (the PISTONS) and everytime they prove them wrong (well at least most of the time). That 45% will be the ones looking stupid at the end!

The majority say that ’cause the Bulls swept the defending champs in the first round. Buncha bandwagon cats, anyway! We don’t need ’em! We know who’s gonna win this series. It’s like 3:30 in the morning right now and I’m all excited and ready for tipoff! lol Just 15 hours and 30 minutes left til we finally get this thing going. DEEE-TROOOIIIT! BAAA-SKET-BAAALL! WOO!

wow I think that is a little disrespect to say you will win in seven in detroit. He must not think they are all the great to beat detroit in less. Does he really think that detroit would let then win in seven in detroit? Come on he must not think much of his team. I will give him one that this will be a long series nut if it makes it to seven detroit will come out on top. I have to respect what sheed has send he did not say anything stupid and I like that. You can tell the pistons have there heads int he game when shhed does not make smart ass comments.
