In honor of Tayshaun Prince being named to the All-Defensive Second Team, here is a great highlight video of “The Prince Of The Palace” doing his thing.

I’ve loved this kid since he played for Kentucky. I actually hate Kentucky basketball too, but there was something about the way he played. What a great draft pick for the Pistons– outstanding and fearless defender, great finisher on the break, great (although unconventional) shooter, extremely durable. His post moves are still developing; however, when the team is committed to feeding him the ball in the post he’s already nearly unstoppable. Nice highlight video. I certainly appreciated it!

    I love tay tay!
He used to go to Big Boys right across Rochester High School with Chauncey and they were really nice to everyone there.
    Yay Tayshaun!

“There goes my hero–watch him as he goes!”

That is a great song for that highlight video.

Here’s hoping we’ll see plenty of Tayshaun action in the next series and for the rest of the Playoffs! CHEERS!

By the way, Tayshaun has a HUGE matchup with Luol Deng in this next series. I’ve been watching Deng a whole lot this season (given how many Bulls games are on Comcast SportsNet here in Illinois), and he’s legit. He’ll be an All-Star before long, and he was certainly deserving of a spot on the East squad this season. Tayshaun’s defense is going to be extremely important. Deng rarely misses open jumpshots, although he never shoots 3-pointers. His mid-range game reminds me of a young Rip Hamilton. If Tayshaun does a good job on Deng defensively, the Bulls are going to struggle to score enough points to keep up with the frontcourt scoring of Sheed, C-Webb, and Dyess (thanks to an offensively inept Ben Wallace!).

    GO PISTONS
